I wanted to see more of THAT!

While playing through some of the Final Fantasy titles, has there ever been an idea introduced that you wished the game would have expanded a bit more on? It doesn't have to be anything major, but just something that you would have liked to have seen more of.

To clarify, I'll give a couple of examples: In Final Fantasy VIII, Zell has a hoverboard that he rides in on during one of the early scenes in the game. It gets taken away, and we never see it again, but I think it would have been neat to see some sort of minigame or something that had hoverboards that the player could use.

One other example would be in Final Fantasy XIII when Hope (and the player) gets to control that mech-suit thing and smash open gates and knock back enemies. That would have been awesome if there were other parts in the game where you got to do something similar.

All those mini games that were in final fantasy Golden Saucer(VII), the card games(VIII,IX), blitzball(X). Then they just stopped. I loved playing those games as a break within the game. So I want to see more mini games, which kinda goes with what you were saying. They did a decent job in 7 of optional content that gave more background info on characters in your party. I wish you could do more stuff like that. Optional content that has "story" to it. Instead of just kill that monster!

yea they should keep mini games i mena make more some of them are one time only mini game but they are really fun

What I thought some things should have happened would be like.

Having ShinRa send SOLDIER First Class units to attack Cloud and the Party. Have Raijin and Fujin in FFVII like originally planned instead of FFVIII.

Honestly though, after playing most of the FF series again now that I'm older, the games seem short and indeed I think all of them could have used more.

I wish VI dealt more with the Celes Locke relationship and the Celes Cid relationship
