I don't know much about the Final Fantasy games. I was going through my husband's old stuff and found a lot of old gaming systems, and Games. I found a Final Fantasy game, but it was different from the other NES games. It didn't have a gray sticker on the back, it was gold, and it has a number on it (00). my husband says that it was the very first one to come out on that edition, and thats what the 00 mean. Is that true?
It's just a revision number - the 00 itself doesn't mean anything special aside from the fact that it's a revised cartridge (or, in other words, a later release).
As for the gold sticker, I don't believe there's any value in that. As far as I know, the gold and grey stickers on the back do not necessarily identify any differences in gameplay or whatnot. Can you take a picture of the cartridge, front and back?
