final fantasy legends not like final fantasy

so i bought final fantasy legends and it is not anything like final fantasy so what do you think about this game

Final Fantasy Legend is not a Final Fantasy game, it is the first SaGa game(like SaGa Frontier, Unlimited SaGa, Romancing SaGa, etc.). They just changed the name to Final Fantasy in the US to make more money.

And before you make the same mistake twice, Final Fantasy Adventure is not a FF either, it is the first ManaSecret of Mana, Legend of Man, Children of Mana, etc.) game.

Didn't like the first two, but FF Legend III was sweet. Traveling back and forth through time and seeing the world in 3 stages of a flood was cool, as was the ability to eat the meat of certain enemies to turn into a fiend yourself.

The Spirits Within film was similar in that respect that it had nothing to do with the FF games. The film is okay and I think it was made just to show how good Square-Enix's animation capabilites was. However Advent Children Complete on Blu-Ray puts the Spirits Within to shame in every way!!!
