A Final Fantasy film but not

Last night I watched a South Korean film called Natural City and if ever I saw a film that could easily have been a FF storyline with FF characters then it is this.

It's a definite homage to Blade Runner but couldn't help but find similarities to the FF series.

A dark, futuristic setting
A moody, angry lead guy who rides a motorbike who works for the military police
A dying girl/ cyborg who goes out with the main character
An annoying girl who fancies the main guy
A serious Best friend who does things by the book and is the main guy's senior
A computer nerd girl
A cool bad guy who kicks everyone's ass for the majority of the film.
An Airship....

I think most people who like Final Fantasy will like this film, it's not a classic but is a decent watch with some great CGI and is generally quite cool.

I've seen the poster for this movie many times and always thought that it looked interesting but I never checked it out. The only issue is that I absolutely hate reading a movie. I love books, I love movies, but subtitles are a cruel marriage. I still might give it a try though, if I can find it pretty cheap.
