When you say the game's prologue is free does that mean part of the game is free for customers to try so that they can see of they want to play the game or not?
Final Fantasy Dimensions Coming Soon...
Square Enix has finally revealed a release date for its highly anticipated mobile spin-off. According to the game’s official website, gamers will be able to get their hands on Final Fantasy Dimensions on August 31.
Sources have confirmed the release date this morning for the game, which previously had a "summer" release. The game will be available for the iOS, Android and iPod Touch.
The game's prologue will be free, with subsequent chapters requiring an estimated $8-$10. You can buy the entire game for a rumored $28.99!

This is my understanding from all of it. You pay for chapters of the game, and can play them in any order you want. So I would assume this is why the prologue is free. If this is the case I will for sure check it out as it looks very good.Originally Posted by SuperSabin

That is one pricey game, but I'm sure it is well worth it... especially for OLD SKOOL 8-bit FF fans... like myself
Square has some rather high pricing.
This without a doubt is going to be the most expensive game on the app store.
If you buy them individually, you'd be spending 33$. All at once is 29$. Hmm, you save 4$ if you buy the entire batch. Haha. I don't have any of those things required to play it, though, sadly.
I am looking forward to playing the prologue and will probably end up purchasing all of the chapters!
