hiya everyone, I was wonder, what are some of your favorite lines from the games? I'm sure everyone has one that makes them laugh everytime or have a line or two memorized so what are they? Here are some of mine.

Cloud to Barrett, who is in a white sailer suit: "You look like a bear wearing a marshmallow."

Cloud didn't have many funny lines, as he was more of a serious character, so that was funny.

FFXII

Vaan to Fran: "...so, how old are you?" It's not so much that line, but how everybody else reacted after he asked that, saying things as "Nice, Vaan" and "Way to go, Vaan."

FFVI

At the end, after everybody gives their part of some righteous speech to Kefka; Kefka responds with: "What is this?!? You all sound like chapters from a self-help booklet!" Haha.

Oh, and can't forget the famous "You spoony bard!"

Seymore from X says a few memorable quotes:
"Pitiful mortal, your hope ends here, And YOUR MEANINGLESS EXSISTANCE WITH IT!" He doesnt exactly shout it but i think it looks better IN CAPITALS!

"Very well, if you are offering your lives, i will have to take them"
And then there's his signiture deranged giggle.

Ugh there are some from XII that i liked but I. Cant. Remember. Them.
Judge Ghis "and as for you, my dear, the Empire needs you no moooore!"

Ba'Gamnan "Mah blade needs a sharper tongue to whet it", when talking to Balthier.

Dissidia has some of the best quotes, mostly Kefka, though others happen to have one or two. My favorite by far are:

1. Let me clip your wing, fallen one. - Kuja while facing Sephiroth.

2. Who's THAT handsome devil? 3. Now that's what I call a true work of art! - Kefka while facing himself.

4. I see a poser! 5. You are sure talkative... in your head. - Kefka while facing Squall.

6. One of us is not serious enough. - Kefka while facing Zidane.

7. Mistaked tight-lipped for being cool? - Kefka while facing Cloud.

8. Would you look at this clown? - Kefka while facing Laguna.

9. Using time to get rid of those wrinkles? Kefka while facing Ultimecia.

10. Power of Discord? Don't mind if I do! - Kefka while facing Chaos.

11. What are you looking at!? Focus! - Tifa while facing Zidane.

12. If you're a lion, what the heck am I? - Jecht while facing Squall.

Tons of more, this should be enough though. As for the main series:

This isn't a line someone actually says, its an email you recieve after joining the Sephiroth Fan Club in Crisis Core

I also love when Zidane tells Ipsen and Colin's story to Garnet, the final dialogue between Zack and Cloud from Crisis Core and of course Yuna's final speech in FFX! Most of the short lines in battles are well-written, I certainly love with ones from Dissidia!
