Connection between FF7 and FFX

I'm still skeptical about it, I mean time travel and different dimensions?

I don't know about this at all, it just sounds like too much trouble to me.

I doubt that there is any connection at all. FFVII is so popular that everyone and their grandmother's uncle wants to find some off the wall connection between it and everything else. Some people think that FFXII is a remake of FFVII but from their reasoning that's a little hard to go for...
