Comparison Trailer for Type-0 of the PSP and PS4 versions

Square Enix has another new video to show today, this time they are presenting the differences made from the PSP version back in 2011 and the updated PS4 version, out in March. As to be expected going from just a handheld to a console, the visual differences are going to be great. This video really helps to show how it has changed.

I saw this video when a few days ago and I have to say that the visual improvements are fantastic. A lot of people say the new one looks a little 'plasticy' though. I just think it looks great and I can't wait to play it. They've done a great job.

They probably think it looks that way because of how cleaned up it is. Everything is cleaner and reads a lot easier. So it does give it much different look than the lower resolution PSP version. It surprised me how much of a difference 720p to 1080p can be. I did comparisons on a game that was just a two different resolutions with some slightly improved textures and the difference was a lot more dramatic than I was expected. So Type-0 running at 1080p with the new textures probably will make some think that it looks that way. It still looks really good though.

Debating if I want to sell my PS4 and just pick this up for the One. I literally haven't touched my PS4 since release :/
