how do i get a monster in final fantasy tactics for gba
You need one of your humans to become a hunter and use Capture. The percent chance that Capture will work will be increased if the monster is weakened. Also there are some types of monsters that cannot be captured. The chance of Capture working isn't the greatest, so good luck trying to capture monsters.
And if my memory serves me right, isn't the percentage higher if you attempt to capture the monster from behind instead of before or to the side, the same as attacking? But yeah, they were real pains, especially those dragons for me.

I haven't played in a while, but I think you are right. I just remember capturing monsters being a pain, so I didn't really care to do it very often. ethan, just remember to weaken the monster so that it has very few HP left, or it will be next to impossible for Capture to work. That and the fact that even then the probability that it will succeed still isn't the greatest is what makes capturing monsters annoying.
thanks for all the help ill put it to use you see i just went and got the game and ive been trying to figure it out![]()
Guys in order to use them you need a morpher( learn with beastmaster) and the souls you get from capturing the monsters they convey they ability to transform into that monster and more specificly the one you caught.( hence he name morpher)
