The fact that both games are of the strategy/tactical-rpg genre is where they share something in common, however that is where the similiarities end. I have never played Disgaea but I'm sure the story is not the same or similiar though through stretching the stories may be similiar. Disgaea is a turn-based, grid movement, tactical-rpg; Revenant Wings is a real-time strategy-rpg - their play styles are clearly distinctive.
