Nobuo Uematsu is a great artist and help the world of gaming in a lot of ways
He loved to make music and creat art
He was always able to make the right song for anywhere
Area on any final fantasy.
He was a big part in gaming music.
And I think he deserves a lot of credit and praise lol

I would have to agree with some of you Clash on the Big Bridge is one of my all time favorite songs of Final Fantasy. I really enjoy One-Winged Angel too, but of course I enjoy any song he creates whether FF or not.

I'm kind of surprised that everyone is just mentioning his work on the Final Fantasy games. Yeah, that's where most of his work is from, but he has other fantastic music from other franchises. I'll also link to the ones that I think are really worth hearing.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl-Main Theme - it's a pretty epic sounding song. I used to just switch on my Wii and put in SSBB just so I could watch the opening and listen to this:

Yeah Uematsu has the band The Black Mages and they remade many of the FF songs with a heavyier sound on most but there are some that keep their smooth emotional sound. They also do some work outside of the FF series soundtracks like Blue Blast the Winning Rainbow.
