fastest time?

What was the least amount of time it took you to beat the game? My friend and I have just clocked our first time under 20 hours.

I'm just curious if anyone else ever atempted any speed runs...

usually everytime i play i play to get everything and do everything but i did go on a speed run one time and when is saved before the point of no return i was at 18 hr 56 min

I typically don't go for speed runs on FF games. I am pretty sure that my fastest time to complete X was like 60 hours. I always do everything that I can possibly do doing my play through. I also spend usually like 20+ hours just playing f*cking blitzball.

If anything I should post my longest playthrough which is 200+ hours. I do work in the streets!!!!

If anything i try to take as long as possible when completing games, that way its not all over instantly and i havent missed anything important out. My shortest run would've been around 60 hours, about 10 of those grinding in the Sea of Sorrow. But my longest run was about 120+ hours because i tried to complete everyting before i battled Ject, i gave up, but i tried.

I never do speed runs, but i like to go low level runs (Lv.1 playthrough is heck of a fun). But probably wouldn't work with X since there's no levels and not upgrading anything would be super crappy.)
Running through the game with the timer seems so uninteresting to me, i play those games enough
Probably one of the very few things i've never tried, but X should be done under 15 hours, it's really short if you only do the main story.

Actually when i think about it, i might do a speed-run on FFX one day, it's probably the only game i would enjoy doing that.

I haven't really tried and I might when I have more time, buutt I'm pretty sure you could beat X in a day. I guess it just depends on how much of the extra stuff you'd plan to get; the game itself should fly by.

Now I kind of want to start a new game just to see how many hours it would take with no extra side quest.

I've recently been wanting to play FFX to see how fast I can beat it. I want to do it on the International version mainly though because of being able to change what character does on the sphere grid first now. I need to get a copy!
