Anima is only difficult if you rush through the Cloisters and somehow manage to miss the Bevelle chest, since you can't go back to get it later. All the other chests you can go back and get later if you miss them the first time around.
I think it's worth it if you like using Aeons or are trying for a 100% game. Honestly Anima isn't anywhere near a requirement though since Bahamut is nearly as strong when you get him.

Both Yes an' No... The first time i played this... i Rushed through the cloisters and did not care about the secrets... But when i founded out i decided to try to get them... The problem is... Like this... ''Myself: Alright theres Besaid! I'll go in the cloisters again and to to solve the puzzle...'' And when i enter Besaid Village... ''Myself: Wtf? an event? Okay now then... HEY! who's that guy??? *It turns dark* Myself: Who turned the lightswitch?? *That man: Infidel!* Myself: Wha...? *That Man: Prepare to charge!* Myself: Charge who??? *Dark Valefor fly right at me, the battle starts* Myself: Wha...?! An Battle?! Hey... Is that enemy Valefor?? Alright i fight it! Im going to win! *Dark Valefor attacks!* ''9999 damage'' Myself: HOLY #@€&!!!! 9999 Damage????!!!!! *Gahh! I lost againt him... But with the help of Zanmato, I killed him! Well... thats what i had to say...

Nah it wasn't hard at all, infact most of the sidequests in FFX are super easy in my opinion, except Penance...
I think I'm beginning to understand. An answer from the Planet, the Promised Land...I think I can meet her...there.
Can I just take this opportunity to say that contrary to popular belief. It is impossible to miss the Bevelle chest, as you actually need to open it to continue the game.
Since your probably not playing the International or European version, you don't need to worry about Dark Aeons. As Uber says, missing the Besaid or Macalania destruction spheres is unforgivable in Europe. If you don't get them the first time you have to face Dark Valefor and Dark Shiva respectivley. I also had to rely on Zanmato to beat Valefor since the Dark Aeons constantly hit for 9999 and later on 99999. But if your playing the North American version you have nothing to worry about, in fact, getting Anima should be easy.
Also, Dodie, have you gotten the Zanarkand chest? You can only get it after beating Yunalesca.
Yes, that was exactly what happened to me the first time. I was about to open the chest, but I accidentally pushed down the controller, resulting in Tidus running out the exit. I had to go back there on a second playthrough just to open that chest.
Anima is in no way difficult to obtain, unless you were as careless as I was. You just need a good memory at one point in the game, and that's it. Of course, you also have to get revenge on that giant turtle boss, which may or may not be difficult for you, depending on whether or not you really use Tidus, Wakka, and Rikku.
Apparently, I have been able to prove that statement false. The chest is in the middle of the road, but I managed to walk to other side of it, thus resulting in Tidus going out the door and initiating the scenes, not letting me come back.

It wasn't THAT difficult.Just beat the geosanaga and make sure you got all the treasures from each cloister of trials.
I'm skeptical. Every single time I've ever played the Bevelle Cloisters, I get near the chest, the game goes into the Tidus opening the chest animation automatically. If I remember correctly, there really isn't much space for Tidus to get around the chest, maybe there isn't any at all. I, like Aerif, am positive the chest is unavoidable. Otherwise, you are unable to go back to Bevelle later in the game, and that would be a **** move on the game's part. The spear for Kimahri, on the other hand, is avoidable, but is completely optional. If you can provide proof that I am wrong, however, I'd love to see it.
As for the topic at hand, Anima's a piece of cake to get. Every Temple besides Bevelle can be returned to and the puzzles re-solved later in the game (great also for netting you some extra spheres) to get the treasure if you missed it somehow. Geosgeano's the only real threat, as if you don't know how to properly handle the fight, he can be a bitch with his Stone and KO punches, but three things can make it easy. The Stone Proof ability, a poison fang, and elemental attacks. Enjoy your Animas.
Let's go into the "archives" in "Washington D.C." and find out how people "masturbated" in the "roaring 20's."
Crao Porr Cock8. Bitch.
I never got her because I couldn't figure out how to get the Bevelle chest... unfortunately, unlike other FF games.. this one doesn't have too much replay value. 12 has the most replay value of all final fantasies because you can really customize your characters a lot. I wish this one was more like 12 in battle and in customization. The story was so epic and the ending brings a tear to almost anyones eye but they really messed up with the sphere grid and the scarcity in customizing options. I don't want to go through the whole game again just to get a summon I haven't had yet.
Anima Was easy to get Actually...Anyway, I like using Anima. Happy Posting Fellas
I managed to get the all the Bevelle Chests. Anima is at the Baaj Temple isn't he?

After I found out that there was hidden treasure in the Trials, I refused to complete it without obtaining it. Then I found out that it was worth it to do that to get Anima so I was glad. I remember doing Bevelle's trials like 5 times cause I kept missing the treasure lol.
Yeah, Anima is at the Baaj Temple...Just to answer your question FFTheBest. Anyway, Happy Posting Fellas
Sorry, it's been a long time since I last played FFX. Anyway, back on-topic.

I don't think Anima was hard to get, you had to be thorough in getting the treasure chests in each cloister of trials.
Main series FFs Beaten - FF: 4x, FFII: 3x, FFIII: 3x, FFIV: 3x, FFV: 3x, FFVI: 4x, FFVII: 5x, FFVIII: 5x, FFIX: 3x, FFX: 4x, FFXII: 3x, FFXIII: 2x, FFXV: 2x
To me, Anima was easy to get. I had to retrace my steps and go back to get a few of the Treasure Chests, but Anima is so worth it! I thought Bahamut did good damage, but Anima is just bad ass!

Armageddon, my awesome, evil, chaotic younger brother.
The only real challengin part of the entire endeavor was probably the Bevelle trial. Unlike the others, where you could go back later, this trial is one-time only. And if you miss this chance, they're no way to get Anima outside of cheats. Beatings Geosagena isn't TOO bad, just got watch out for getting stoned. If you did the Zanarkand trial again as well, then enter the temple and claim one of the game's strongest aeons!
I'm going through a bit of a The World Ends With You phase right now.Click THERE:
In my opinion, Anima wasn't really that hard to get. All I have to do is get all the treasure chests in all the Trials. Not really hard to, really.
Why, Tetsuya Nomura, WHY!? You messed up the battle system for KH CoM!? What did we ever do to deserve this!?
i think not hard at all..
cz i already get all the treasure of each temple 1st b4 thingking of getting anima..
