Hey I know I already commented about your drawings when we talked on the phone but again, Wow Yesha! You got a whole great ideas! I love your drawings though, many of your drawings are cute girls why don't you try to create your own male character. I think you'll be fine with that! I don't have any bad to say! You're great so far, knowing that you're an amateur! Oh! And also be careful in opening up to people your ideas! Someone might.. you know!

It's been such a looong time since my last post here.

Well, I got a vid. to show.. it's my first time to record on how I draw on freestyle. :-) So, comments are welcome.

You draw really well Yesha. Her right eye looks a little weird at the edge of her face like that, but otherwise it's really nice. I like the hair style. Also, I like some of your drawings in the previous post.

Some of your drawings look a little misproportioned, but it looks like you're improving. ;)

You are clearly progressing throughout the thread.
Alot of the pictures seem to lack depth, but ican see you getting more of it in your later ones.

I think the best advice I can think of may make me sound like a d*ck but...
Sticking to a strickly 'Anime/mange style of drawing' will severely stifle your progress as an artist. I've known enough people for enough years to confidently say that as a fact.
Try some other styles then go back to the anime look, you will see a significant difference.

For an immidiate reference check out Gypsy Elder's thread.

A good artist to check out for depth in contour drawings would be Robert Crumb, personally I find his art ugly, but i can't think of anyone who captures depth with line counours anywhere close to how well he does.

Thanks guys for all the advice, I'll take those to the bottom of my heart, and I love to try out all those you've suggested.

But for now, I'm taking a rest from doing any artworks until I fully got my break to do the things I missed to do.
