I need to start Persona 3... it tempts me every night..
Yes, yes you do. Really, you do. Like, now.
Between Persona 3 and Skate (PS3 version), I've been busy.
I've had the game for about half a week now ... I've had two midterms + classes in that time. I've played 30+ hours ... @w@;;
All i can play is MLB Power Pros... It's so awesome... lol..
But 30+ hours is a lot for someone in school... lol... we know where your free time went.
Final Fantasy Tactics on the PSP is my number one.
FFXI is my second time-taker.
Elsewise, I have Phantom Hourglass and Skate keeping me busy. Haven't started Folklore yet. Wanna finish PH first.
I played various games for a couple hours the other day with little progression in any while listening to my new CD's on rotation in my CD player. Fun times. Haven't played Twilight Princess in like a week. I should play that this morning.
Also, S, you need to add me as a buddy on your Wii still :p Do it, or you may spontaneously combust! This is serious business!

Crap, I forgot. Haha. :(
I got Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness for the PSP. It's great fun. I'm taking my time though, so I'm only on the second episode. Currently Laharl and Etna are 10 and 8, respectively. The rest of my party, which consists of three Prinnies, two warriors of opposite gender, and two brawlers of opposite gender are level 5 (class unlocking requirements). I need to make myself some miscellaneous classes like Scout, but I'm low on Mana. I'm going to wait on casters and healers until I get Flonne so that I can make them her pupils and give her magic/boosts in the appropriate stats.
I'm not sure what they added since I never played the original, but there's a Music Shop. You can change the Item World music, which I'm sure would make Kazanthikus happy. Also, though it's disappeared since I cleared Chapter 1, there was a Prinny in a maid outfit next to a dimensional whatchamahoozit in Laharl's quarters that lets you into the multiplayer mode. Unfortunately it's a LAN sort of thing...No online. :( I don't know anybody (that lives near me) that plays Disgaea, so...
SPACE MONSTER FLONNE MAKES HER ENTRANCE!
I've been playing.....
MLB Power Pros: It's a great game to play before you to go to sleep.. and it's so cute.
Tabula Rasa: This is where all my gaming time goes. Yay for Lord British.
Picross DS: I vote this the best game to play when you only have 15 minutes to play a game, or you're on the toilet. I wouldn't touch my DS if i were you.
I got Shining Force off the VC the other day and played the first couple of levels. It's a pretty fun game so far too, I've found.
Still playing Twilight Princess. Got to the Snow Mountain place, haven't pushed any further yet.
S still needs to add me as a buddy on the Wii... if he still lives. Anyhoo...

I keep forgetting, haha, I'll do it now.
I've been playing Super Mario Galaxy and Disgaea. I just unlocked the 3rd dome in Mario and have about 20 stars. It's really really fun. It seems that, for the most part, Nintendo decided to ditch the coin collect-o-thons that were present in every level of previous games. No more red coins, no more looking for 100 coins to get a hidden star (though I've heard of some purple coin levels, but I haven't encountered any yet). Coins are actually pretty scarce now...they are solely used for restoring health and giving you extra lives at every 50 (I'd be lucky to even get 20 on some levels). Instead they now have Star Bits, which you can fire with the Wiimote at enemies, or use it for various other things like feeding some star creature so that it'll transform into a planet or a galaxy or something. They're easy to find though, so you should never be in short supply unless you go out of your way to mess up.
It's a blast to play, and you get used to the controls pretty quickly. The only time I REALLY had trouble was during this one boss battle. Due to the constant perspective shifts the controls for moving left or right (it was a 2-D battle, almost) changed from pushing up and down to pushing left and right without warning, and it'd keep doing this at the worst times. BUT I TRIUMPHED.
Each galaxy seems to be able to keep itself fresh, though it may be a bit linear. In Mario 64 when you selected a star "mission" you didn't necessarily have to get the particular star assigned...In Galaxy, the level changes in a way that forces you to head off in X direction rather than Y, so there isn't much room for exploration. It's probably because of this that they can do some really dynamic looking things though. Mario 64's problem was that you'd get tired of doing the same themed level about 6 or 7 times over. So it's more or less a double-edged sword. Also, each galaxy has had its number or stars reduced, with major galaxies having about 3 major stars and 1-3 hidden stars, and minor galaxies having 1, maybe 2 stars. But there are a lot of galaxies and lots of different things to do. Even a hellish Super Monkey Ball one.
And with Disgaea...I'm on Chapter 3 and most of my party is around level 12-15. I'm going to aim to unlock most of the hidden classes. I really, really want an EDF Soldier or whatever (the best gunner) and the angel class, but it's going to take a while. I should probably advance in the story.
Gah. Sudden activity.
Finished Resident Evil 4. Been playing it over and over and ...
Played a bunch of Super Mario Galaxy with my baby cousin (I forget how far we are but we've passed a SHITLOAD).
Ordered Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles. Should come in time for finals (joy).
Played some Rock Band at a friend's place. Excellent fun.
I just beat Shining Force the other day. It actually took presidence over Twilight Princess during the time I was playing it. It took up a lot of the little free time I seem to have lately. I really enjoyed it; very addicting. I hope that its sequel makes its way to the Virtual Console soon, too. Thank you for the suggestion, guys! Anyhoo...

I picked up Vagrant Story again, if only to finally pick up the asterisk swords of awesome.
*disappears for another six months*
I am currently playing a few games.
X360 - Blue Dragon
I'm almost on disc 3.
X360 - Rock Band
I always play that.
X360 - Guitar Hero 2
Another main stay.
SNES - Secret of Mana
When aren't I playing this?
However, the last two weeks I've been on break. My cat sliced my left hand with his back paws. Bloody mess. I swear I heard him say, "I'll cut you!!"
X360 - Dead or Alive Xtreme 2 (Whenever I'm kinda bored to do anything else, since it's that type of game.)
PSP - Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness
Wii - Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn
DS - Fire Emblem: Sacred Stones
DS - Fire Emblem
Soon to be:
X360 - Soulcalibur IV
I'm still playing Secret of Mana. I'd be done with it by now and onto other stuff if it weren't for consecutive hand injuries. I've also been playing a bit of SNES - TMNT IV: Turtles in Time, DS - Final Fantasy III, and Hide the Pickle.
Ah, Turtles in time, such a fun game.. haha.
I'm just going through Metal Gear Solid 4 again. Goin for the big boss emblem this time around, I just beat Act 1 out of 5, so it looks like a good start for me, lol we'll see how it goes... if I don't get too frustrated with it. heh
Yoshi's Island -- yes, on the SNES.
The roommates and I are also playing Tales of Vesperia together. Fun times.
Also, LEGO Star Wars Complete Saga on the 360.
AH! Tales of Vesperia... I need to get that. I'll have to wait till Wednesday, though.
Oh. I'm playing Growlanser 3.
I'm now playing X360- Infinite Undiscovery. I'm only a little bit into it, and I'm already having a blast. I love you, Tri-Ace!
It's always nice to see that face for the fleeting moment that it shows itself. Sends a wave of nostalgia down my spine. *thumbs up* Although I haven't talked directly to him in like four or five years, I don't think (or maybe it wasn't that long ago...)
The last game I beat... was Warcraft III. Finally. I've had it since the day it came out; my old computer just couldn't play it ever. Plus I wasn't very good at it. I'd beaten it before, but not without cheating, so this was my first non-cheating endeavor (I don't even remember the cheat codes anymore...)
Playing Legaia II now, kinda (the last time I picked up the controller was last week.) Also picked up Sonic Rush, even though I'm not very good at Sonic games...
I'll cut you! I'll kick you! Is that from what I think it is? "They pissed on yor damned rug." Anyhoo...
Wuv, Yer Mom
I wasn't referencing anything, but your quote sounds like it's from The Big Lebowski.
Ah... Legaia.. I still need to finish the first one. I remember when I first played that.... That was back when my cousin and I used to play the same games at the same time. Now, the lucky bastard is stationed in Japan (thanks to strings pulled by my uncle) and can get any toys and awesome things he wants.
Anyway, to the point. I'm still playing Infinite Undiscovery. I love it more than chocolate right now. I shall go play more.... NOW.
Heh, I don't have an Xbox 360.. but the commercials for Infinite Undiscovery look pretty neat. I've accomplished my goal in getting the Big Boss Emblem from Metal Gear Solid 4, about a week and a half ago, act 3 was a pain, but after that it was smooth sailing. Another part that took me a while was the epic fight with Liquid-Ocelot at the end of the game. He's just so cheap on Extreme mode lol.
Now I'm going back to unlock the Snake Eater song, lol!
So, I'm discovering that Sonic Rush is actually a lot of fun. That's what I always thought of the old 2D style Sonic games anyway, I was just never good at them. This one, though, I'm actually getting through pretty well. It's challenging, but addictive. I like the character of Blaze the Cat a lot, I'm discovering. I'm actually further along in her story than I am in Sonic's. Anyhoo...

wooo
Currently playing:
Shining Force II (VC: Sega Genesis)
Phoenix Wright 3 (DS)
Lego Star Wars Complete Saga (360. At 80%)
Lego Batman (360. At 50%)
Lego Indiana Jones (360. At 50%)
Various 360 XBL Arcade games.
Yeah i've gone Lego game crazy.
edit: Incidentally if any of you have the 360 version of Lego SW Complete Saga, I need the online co-op achievement.
My girlfriend tried to get me to play Kingdom Hearts but I hated it.
Animal Crossing: City Folk. I thought I'd only play it for an hour or two...I played it for 6.
I am now a townsmember of Goonga-3, formerly a refugee camp hastily constructed after the communist roach invasion and subsequent razing of major cities some years ago. The forest natives here are kind, welcoming me as both a comrade and kinsman. Like always, there's a snooty cat that I want to eject from the village. You can voice complaints about particular residents in the town hall now, rather than fencing their houses with pitfalls and mailing them garbage (which probably didn't do anything). There's also an odd but pleasant bear named Stitches here, obviously a victim of torture since no one can be birthed that way.
But nothing much has changed. The fear of God abandoning our little paradise and leaving us to fend against weeds will always hover over our heads. Until then all we can do is go about our usual lives fishing and catching bugs and expanding our lots of land, and hopefully in due time we will be able to build a thriving economy and pay the seemingly infinite debt we owe to the apron nudist and his pantsless mafia.
By the time I went to the city most of the stuff was closed...Except that doctor comedian's show who taught me how to clap again. Redd's being a bitch and won't let me into his shop, and I can't remember where I need to get the invitation from. Probably one of the neighbors.
I'm probably on my own this time around. ;( The only person I know who has the game here is Loco...and he's probably buried an avalanche of other games. Blaaaaaaah.
Edit: "You know, you could invite your friends to our village. Even if they ate all our fruit, I wouldn't mind meeting them, stuffin'." Breaks my heart. ;(
In other news, a third bear moved into my village. They're taking over...
Edit:
:)
SPOILER!!:
Hey look! I dabble in the dark arts of forum necromancy. We're pretty much dead, anyway. What's the harm in a few zombie threads, eh?
Games I'm playing or (in some cases) pretending to play:
- Castlevania: Harmony of Despair of Dissonance Sorrow of Souls Dawn of the Night Ecclesia III: Dracula's Curse of True Omega (360)
- Mass Effect 3 (360)
- Diablo III (PC)
- Suikoden II (my PSOne copy emulated)
And when I can be bothered:
- Elder Scrolls: Skyrim (PC)
Not to big on the Skyrim? I did the majority of the guild quests and the main quest in like a month, and after that my interest dwindled, though I still have the random urge to put it back in. But I never do.
I'm also playing ME3. Just experienced the joy of getting into an Atlas today. Those Cerberus guys weren't very appreciative of that. Also, Garrus is and always will be the guy. Also, Jack punched me in the face, and I chuckled, because it didn't surprise me in the slightest. Also, this game is a bit harder than ME2, I've noticed. I swear a lot, but I'm lovin' it.
FFXIII-2 and FFIV are also displayed as currently playing on my backloggery, but I am not really playing them right now. Anyhoo...
Wuv, Yer Mom
Reading S's Animal Crossing post made me feel sad that I don't have those games anymore. ;(
I'm currently playing Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney and FF IV -Interlude-. Apollo Justice is okay so far. Could do without Trucy though (SHUT UP ABOUT YOUR MAGIC AND ESPECIALLY YOUR PANTIES, GIRLIE! ><) Also, the game really milked the concert FMV for all it's worth in the third case. Got reeeeeaaaaaally sick of listening to that song. Other than that, pretty okay. Kind of sad that Phoenix Wright hasn't kept in touch with anyone from the previous games though... ;(
Not far into Interlude, but it seems okay too. Gotta get dem babies born so there can be new characters for the After Years.
Skyrim is fantastic but my computer is not powerful enough to run it well. It's mostly a fight between cursor lag and input issues. Even when I drop the settings, the issues persist. I'll get a new PC eventually so I'm not worried about fixing it---it's just a bother to play, which is why I play it sparingly.
