Keep going back, eh? Hmm.. I remember hearing about something permanent before. Maybe that's cause of Estrogen, though. Who knows.

Ditto. I don't need to cut myself with a razor. I'm not emo.Quote:

That doesn't sound impossible, haha. WoW will take any soul it can sink its ghastly grip into. All that will be left of you is a dead skeleton...;)Quote:

And it's easy to cut yourself if you're not careful, too. :( You either have to shave often and build up an immunity, or be prepared.Quote:

But yea I use both to get a close shave. I use the electric shaver to clip the long hairs.. then the razor to get that smooth baby butt face.. LOL.. >.>
Yeah, that's pretty much what I do, except replace electric shaver with beard trimmer. >>;
Well, I have a gamer bf and he does have a tendency to tell me what to do sometimes. Lol, it's funny because he would suddenly say "Are you getting annoyed?" and it'll all be funny. But gaming is not the only thing we have in common but it really helps in the relationship, especially the long distance part.
Eh, if you think 5'2" is tiny..I am 5'1" !
This thread has become so random lol
Well obviously some common things in a relationship help but I believe you have to have a good balance of the two. Common and Uncommon.
For instance if your GF and you are both into games then you'll be playing a lot more games and together too which is fun. However, if your girlfriend is very much the opposite then gaming will be part of your escape, the times when you and her are doing separate things and that can be good too. Plus nobody will be using the 360 when you want it, and all the games you've spent money on are games you like ;)
Haha... i've had it both ways and some ways in between.
Like i said i currently have a girl who doesn't even understand the appeal of video games, and i can't even get her to play mario party with me. She likes seeing me excited about gaming and loves watching me play in my online baseball league (which might only be because I talk to my players through my television to try to boost their morale and make sure they know how critical the current situation is.) It'd be nice if we could play some games together, but I enjoy the other things we do together which usually involve the outdoors. I'd much rather have someone willing to mountain bike and snowboard WAY WAY WAY before having someone who wants to game.
Then on the other side i've had a girlfriend whose obsession with games was rival to my own. That was just too much obsession and too many opinions. It was fun to play together and make each other play our favorite games and all but not when they're watching you and tellling you what to do. It's hard to escape into games if she's there. watching you...
Hehe... I've also had a non gamer girlfriend who would play mario party, mario kart,... well mario games. She would play with us but she wasn't a gamer and never won and would always get frustrated. It was nice she was playing with us, but it wouldn't work out most of the time.
so there's my 2¢ .... lol... there are no right answers! only wrong ones. ;)
I also had a bf whom I had nothing in common with - except going hiking occasionally. It was kinda hard and there's a lot of compromise involved. I am just adaptable by nature so maybe that's why the relationship lasted a year.
But then , everything should be in moderation: Have too much in common and you'd both be stuck with the same thing over and over again and it'll be boring overtime. On the other hand, having nothing in common sometimes leads to misunderstandings and too much compromise.
I think either relationship could work, provided that each party understands each other and in the case of having too much in common, think of things you'd like to explore (together or alone) and know that sometimes it's also good to do things on your own.
I met a girl once who was EXACTLY like me down to every detail, excluding gender and appearance, of course. We had the same taste in absolutely everything. We had considered dating, but we discovered that it would have been like being by ourselves plus one.
I mean, we had to resort to favorite colors just to find something we disagreed upon.
She's fun to hang out with because of this, though.

La la la... I've never actually been in a relationship... I haven't ever actually worried about being in one either, though. In fact, there've been a few times when a girl's been like "I like you!" and I've been like "Buh? Oh, crap!" and more or less ran away from the situation. It's probably not the best way to go through life, but oh well... ;!
On the shaving thing, I don't like my electric shaver either. It leaves my face feeling more raw than my regular razor, and it never gets everything that I pass over, even if I pass over the stuff like a few million times. So yeah, I use my razor. I actually generally do not cut myself too much. Maybe a very small nick here or there, but nothing that really hurts at all.
I do. Sometimes, I also cry myself to sleep at night ;( Anyhoo...Quote:

My ex-girlfriend did not like video games. She did not like me playing them, buying them, renting them, or borrowing them. For whatever reason, she held a strong vendetta against video games. She appeared to like 10-15 minute Super Mario World sessions, but even then I think she was faking it in a half-assed effort to support one of my interests. Why does she not like video games? Time and money. Wasted too much time and money, apparently. That meant little to me, however---she had a closet full of DVDs and watched them way more than I played games.
We got into fights over the fact that I played games---not length of time I played them (that dwindled down to Smash Bros. Melee with friends every other weekend during our relationship, anyway), not the cost of buying 1 or 2 games every three months or so, but the fact that I played them. There weren't a lot of other things wrong with the relationship---we were just too different. We lasted just under two years before compromise became more complicated.
Har, we're on the topic of relationships now? Relationships and potential relationships are more harm to me than they're worth. I'm surprised you could last nearly two years like that though. I probably would've ended it off before a compromise could even be gotten to, lolz.
Video games aren't bad though. All my friends play them so I haven't really had an issue with that ... otherwise, I think I just can't connect with people. I think it's a bit more rare to find people who don't like video games these days anyway.

But it seems the "younger" generation, at least on my campus... and Asian btw.. lol are just dorks and inept people lacking enough social skills to be considered.. Cool.. Bahh.. but that's for another topic. lol
Not really ... we're just lazy. Doesn't mean that we don't go outside and do shit, or that we lack social skills. There's just nothing that particularly interests us. At that moment. Eh. And I'm not the clubbing type of person so w/e.
Lol i'd like to hear your stance on relationships again when you're 28 :-D
I wasn't talking about you. =P I was saying in general at my school... I'm not the clubbing type either, i just go sometimes when everyone else goes, or if we're throwing a party. I usually just end up standing there watching people dance while I get drunk, and if I get drunk enough I'll go dance >.> haha. which is not always the case mind you... Yeah someone needs to drive the drunkies home. -_-Quote:

And~~ LETS GET DRUNK AND DANCE TOGETHER ;D HAR. Not that you're actually visiting ;( Lolz. I've never actually gone clubbing lol. Also its nice not having the car here... I'm never DD. Although sometimes I have to help the really drunk friends walk steadily and not into the road, lol
yeah, I hate helping people with spahgetti legs, it makes me want to just kick them in the face and leave them where they are.. -__- lol they're so annoying!
Iono, we'll see bout visiting, lol it all depends if my sisters will leave later than like 7am so I can take my midterm. lol.. if not then I doubt I'll be goin. =T
Haha, spaghetti legs. It wasn't so bad that night coming from Luis' 21st, but Brent and Robert kept walking towards each other so I kept getting squished DX (cause I was on the inside helping Robert stand up). ;___;;
Can you reschedule the exam at all? I'm sure the professor would be willing to make some kind of adjustment lol
mmmm beer.... i'm not a club guy either... i'm a pub guy... and then stumble home... the beauty of living on campus (especially a downtown one) is pubs are in walking distance.
What? Ken visiting? Better do it in two months or else I might be back to Chicago =P
Yeah, I'll give Tifa a few more years for her stance in relationships. I sounded like her long ago but a lot more harsh :D
Chicago or DC, either way they're both 6 hours from where I live =P I have family it both so it wouldn't matter that way either haha. I also have friends in both cities so.. yeah.. =P
Well, I prefer DC because if I'm in Chicago my bf would be around and I don't think he'd like the idea of me meeting a guy from the internet =P At least in DC we can have Tifa too! :D
My my Mina, someone's acting secretive! :P
@prior topic: I'm a bit on the fence with my girlfriend. She's not a gamer though she seems to like games well enough. She buys stuff for her younger brother on occasion so she knows what's decent and what's crap. She wants me to get her into videogames but she's not very competitive...
I'm not sure where to start her off. Mario? Zelda, perhaps? (Or is the latter too immersive for a starter game?) She plays Tetris and that's the extent of it. Other puzzle games, perhaps? Of course, that's also what makes me think she'd like Zelda. Hmm.
lol it's not being secretive since I tell him everything. It'll just be hard to justify meeting a guy I knew from the internet. It'll make more sense if there'd be more than one person to meet. My bf is kinda protective (in a sensible way, not in a possessive way) because he knows how I tend to trust people too easily so I wouldn't want him to worry about anything. If that makes any sense.
Does she like dogs Loco? Get her a DS and Nintendogs! =D
I wouldn't want to meet any of you in real life.. you're all crazy stalkers who will probably kill me in a dark alley... you just act nice to bait me.. its a conspiracy..
=P
^ True that. ;)

Lol you could always tell your BF that I'm your cousin.. >.> I'm asian he wouldn't know the difference.. LOL. j/p lying is bad. =P
