    Into The Unknown...

We all have times where are interest in certain areas are piqued. Sometimes, this leads to us trying new and interesting things....

For me, I've had this fixation on making food from scratch. Now.... I don't know why I have been doing this. I just have. I guess I'm trying to prove that I can do anything I put my mind into. Unfortunately, though... I'm proving that I'm not perfect as well either... Like.... amoeba shaped pancakes..... or gigantic, pan shaped cookies. Now... while this extremely humorous and odd... they still all tasted good. I did it right.... just... a different kind of right. I still feel like I made an accomplishment, as with time, these came out their normal shape.

Anyway, has anyone else had anything new they've ventured in... that started off oddly or rocky and went successfully? Or maybe even failed? Share share... and have a square cookie!

    YIY!! Square cookies!!

Well, when I first started trying to draw stuff, that stuff looked pretty bad. Like compared to what I can draw today. For example, my fox character used to have like a triangle for a snout, and wore an elf hat. Though I'm not sure if any of you have seen him recently, either... Hmm... well, just think of it in terms of how much better the graphics of the Smash Bros. Melee look than the graphics of the original Smash Bros. It's something like that. Anyways...

I've made several ventures like that, especially lately. I dropped out of school and transferred to an alternative school where everything is quite different... Not quite the same as a traditional skill like cooking, but I hated being at the alternative school at first. It took me a decent amount of time to realize that so many people are trash and don't deserve to live... Well, that was my initial response to these people. Then I found out that a lot of their problems weren't caused by the themselves (directly anyway). My big venture was to stop being such an anti-social freak and get out there and -do- something. It came back and bit me in the ass, but I did it.

Another big thing was the pursuit of a career in music. Started playing guitar a few years back and I was horrible... And what's worse is that I was around all these really taltend musicians and I could never keep up. After years of 8 or 9 hours a day of pure practice I'm the one people have troubles keeping up with. I finally got into a studio to record and demo EP,but I didn't like the way it turned out. Not... complete enough, not 'perfect' enough. Can't wait to get back in an record though. Awesome experience.
    No.
