Evil Bad Ideas

Indeed. I have one. Let's host a radio station. We can play evil bad songs and be evil bad disc jockeys. Yes..... it would be great fun. I could see what I could do to go about hosting it. I just think I may not be able to have many people listening at once.... not entirely sure, though. If it sounds good to any of you..... yeah, just... um.... post... and.... um..... stuff.

I couldn't do it. I don't have a DJ voice. At best I have a voice that would make Daravon proud.

It doesn't have to be a radio voice! Just use your evilist or siliiest voice... plus... we could just play music or whatever... and such... and people could use it as outlets for their "talents".

Anyway, I'm going to be looking into the radio station thing tonight, if I can. I'm sure there's a way I could host it on my own connection or through some kind of thing. I just need to see more support from the rest of the ebg before I go further than that(Or maybe I'll just have my own station =P).

As long as I get an hour where I can spam old skool chiptunes to everyone! Like Wily's Castle Theme from Mega Man 2, and Robotnik's Theme from Sonic 2, and..... all those other ones! BWUAHAHAHAHA!

It sounds like a good idea to me, though, like Kaz, I don't have a radio voice. In fact, I don't have a voice, I just make bad sounds. XD

Jeez.... you're all supposed to be evil. How can you truly be evil if you're shy? =P Don't worry. You know what kind of weird things you might here on my broadcasts? If I'm speaking, and my bf is around.... he's gonna start making every strange noise and such that he can think of. Lmao.... so... yeah. Anything goes, don't be shy. It's probably just going to be us listening.

EDIT: Okay... I have the hosting set up.... somewhat... I just need to wait for Adam to get back from his trip to show me how to set up permissions with the firewall and crap. Bah.... I really need to get off my ass and learn as much about Linux as possible. Heh. I don't like having to wait for someone to finish something.... I like to do everything myself and as soon as I think of doing it.

ANYWAY.... I'm going to be doing it via SHOUTcast for Winamp. I'm exhausted to the point where I can't see straight. Nighties.

Hehe. I got the whole idea because KoL had a radio station (but they needed help.... music was weird). Anyway.... since I don't think we're going to be having too many flash videos, this will be a good creative outlet. Plus, it will make us cooler than all of the other clan/clubs.

Having a crappy voice and being shy are mutually exclusive. I can be quite extroverted, but electronic devices distort my voice badly.

I wish I was a robot. Then it wouldn't matter.

Bah.... I'd need a lot more help with this... I just don't have the bandwidth. *cries* I'd only be able to host maybe 2 or 3 listeners with good quality sound... maybe 5 with lower.

Oh man.... I really want my own station. Doh!

While I have a radio voice (well, it's been described as the Movie Phone Man's voice, or as a Sex Chat voice, but it'll work for radio) I don't have a way to help broadcast, I've tried the SHOUTcast, and it doesn't work, Sympatico has some firewall or something that interfers, I spent forever trying to get it work, sadly no go.
