    Wheels

Yeah, it's something to provoke activity.

We're intelligent in here, so I figured we could have an intelligent conversation about cars, or transportation in general. Anything about it. Just something to talk about. Oh, and because Shannen's all 17 and whatnot now, with her shiny new used car in the mail.

So to start, what, if anything, are you currently driving?

    1990 Ford Taurus wagon, maroon
Seats 8 (legally) or 14 (illegally)
Leather seats, heat, AC, all that jazz
    About 25 mpg city, 35 mpg highway - it's a small tank
Equipped with a $600 stereo system (graduation present)

Word of advice, kids. NO LEATHER SEATS. They might be nice, but they're hot as a bitch in the summer. I've gotten so many burns, it's not even funny.

    1991 Saturn SL2 Sedan, Teal
AC, Heat, Radio, Tape Player (yeah, who listens to tapes nowadays...)
    Automatic Transmission
Seats 2 up front, 3 in the back(legally), or 4-5 small people in the back (illegally, of course)
25ish MPG in the city, 35ish on the freeway

I'd get an MP3 player for it, but I figure it's going to die on me anyday now since it's so old, and I'd rather not blow $100+ and then have to reinstall it on a newer car. Besides... I <3 the classical music channel.

Besides having the AC and carburator blow out on me and cost $800, it's been a really good car. I drive a lot for work, so it's good for gas milage and stopping and going, which is why it's an automatic (stick-shifts own, baby!).

    My baby

Hard to believe I've had it for almost a year...

    95 taurus sedan- automatic
    champagne (that silver color)
seats 3 up front, 4 in the back, about 9 if people want to sit on laps with 4 up front, the trunk can comfortably fit 3... its been done before. so thats about 7 on a normal day and um 16 when we try really hard.
    power windows, locks, A/C, etc

hits 85 and the dash starts shaking.

we've made it to albany and back on a single tank, so you do the math. 12 gallon tank, about 400 mile trip.

98 White Ford Explorer. Not really much else to say. No CD player, but AC works, which is all you need in AZ. Power Windows and Locks, and I'm happy with it.

Blah, I really wish I had a car or something that got me from point a to point b much faster. Being as it may that I am from BYU, I do a lot of walking, and the terrain isnt very level, so I guess a bike wouldent be the greatest idea...

I should just learn how to fly, then I will own you all.

Yes, as Cesar said, my car's being shipped. I'll write some stuff about it here though.

    - 1995 Purple Pontiac Firebird, V6 engine
    - CD player (with controls on the steering wheel!), AC, Heat
    - T-tops
    - Automatic
    - Some guy put extra speakers in with the CD player, it must sound really good
    - Most awesome rims ever! Not spinnaz, but they look really cool.

I love it. It needs to get here!

I'm still 16 ... my state is kind of weird. 16 is a permit, 17 is a partial license, 18 is a full license. Dont know. If anything I'm probably going to get my parents Honda when I turn 17 o_O That's so long from now though. God. I just want a car so I can get home. D:

    EDIT: btw, <3333 leather seats.

I was going to get my mom's '96 Subaru Impreza as she moved to New Zealand but it had some kind of fatal flaw that was too expensive to fix and so I sold it for 1000 bucks. Pretty nice, but sometimes I still wish I had that car.

    I finally got one!

    2005 Honda Civic 4-door
    Automatic
    Cobalt blue
    Fabric seats
    35 miles per gallon
It's the economy model (that's how we could afford it) so it doesn't have power locks or windows, but I really don't mind.
Its turning radius is like... oh god, I about creamed myself during my first U-turn in that car. You can think about turning, and it will turn. I love it. I'm gonna go out and just sit in it for a while...
    Curious?

    Yaaay Penelope.

I still have my blue baby. She ends up in pictures sometimes, but I never actually went all out like you did. She got her first flat this weekend. Apparently, I ran over a screw. Ha!

I just got these tires too.

I changed the tire myself, though, so that was a proud day for me. And now she's better. Oh! And I found some old pictures from 2005 so now we can compare Honda blues.

    We love each other.

And we're pretty good at that driveway.

She needs a wash now. Badly.

I'll put up pics of my car later on, but it's a:

    91 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera S
    Powder blue
    V6 3.3L Engine
    73K miles
with a Jensen radio/cd player with an mp3 input line... self installed, baby!

It's also missing a hubcap from when my dumbass ex backed into my car perpendicularly. How she did not see this boat is beyond me, but I think the dumbass tag applies.

It's been rear ended once, so the bumper hangs just a tad bit lower than it should, but can't get popped back up unless I'm willing to spend 200 on a new crash bar.

It also has a lovely dented in front passenger fender from when a box truck backed into it while it was parked. How people can't see this car is honestly a mystery. It's one of them old grandpa cars!

    Anyways, pics will come later.
