    So where's everybody at now?

    In what will inevitably be a failing attempt to inject some life into this forum..

    I'm kind of curious where everyone is right now/what they're doing. I still remember most of the people who were around back in my day, but for the most part, they were students, just because of the age of the forums. I'm kind of curious how much people have changed/where they've gone since then. Hell, I know I'm a completely different person now. I was a freshman in high school when I joined, and since I stopped actively posting a long time ago, I graduated from high school, went to college, graduated from there, and now I'm up in the bay area working. I look back on when I first joined, and it's so far away that I don't even believe it. I'm such a phenomenally different person. Then again, 8 years is kind of a long time, especially when you were 14 when you joined ><.

    I've done pretty much the same thing as you. Finished up HS, went to college, graduated in 08, and have had to take care of a TON of family shit, which only allowed me to work shitty part time jobs until very recently. Still keeping up with my shenanigans in Queens.

    Right now, I'm in between jobs, waiting for a call from my friends' aunts construction company, the NYPD or the NYS Court system. Two of the jobs give me a badge and a gun, while the other lets me break shit with a sledgehammer. The only way I lose is if I don't get a call from any.

    Since whenever i registered... I gradauated High School in 2004, went to a year of college, served a 2 year mission for my church in Latvia (Eastern Europe). Came home, got married a year ago (1 year this sunday). I have 2 years left of school as long as I pass all my classes, ill graduate with a degree in Computer Animation and hopefully do an internship with one of the following companies this summer.

    Blizzard
    Bethesda
    Bioware
    Avalance
    Ubisoft
    ...

    you get the idea...

    and hopefully in 2 years Ill be working for one of the aforementioned companies, except Avalance because I dont want to stay in Utah after I graduate.

    I am now a competitive ballroom dancer, specializing in Latin dancing, with my wife as my partner. We have about 3-4 more competitions this year, then continue up again next February.

    And I started playing WoW in January...

    Quit while you still can! Seriously. I played WoW since the beta came out. I just recently quit about a month ago and I'm trying to reclaim my life back. I'm still in college(got a year left), but I'm going to be a graphic design (specifically in web related things).

    Pete with a gun might be the best thing I've heard in a while.

    Still got a pretty sweet gig as an assistant manager at GameStop. Yeah, the pay sucks, but it gets the bills taken care of. At least my job is easy. Anyone who complains about retail being difficult is an idiot.

    Tomorrow makes four months with the girlfriend. Rebecca's a real sweet kid, but when I say "kid" I do kinda mean it. She's just 18. Barely legal tail, yeah buddy, you know it. She still has her immature moments but... look who she's dating. Overall I've got to say she's pretty well-rounded for her age group. And how well-rounded she is...

    I've also been keeping up with Pete's shenanigans in Queens.

    Well, I'm back from a little longer than a year's hiatus. I've been playing WoW since late '07, I guess that's the biggest blame for my absence. I still play, though definitely not as much as I used to.

    What's been happening all this time? Well, I took a break from school, have moved out. I've graduated (barely), and have plans for graduate school after. I've worked at the same bank for almost 3 years, still draw and design, and am single and loving it. I am very happy now where I am, and now have more self-confidence about myself.

    Looking forward to seeing all of you around here!
