Banners - new skool or old skool?

I'm going to provide a culmination of the ideas as they've fallen.

+ Choose a job class -- or a title, even -- for your banner.
--- (Like Kevin, who said he'd be the Calculator of 0wnage. Clever.)
+ Choose an image or five (however many, really) that you would like to appear in your banner. Be sure you let me know which image you'd prefer to be the dominant one. I'll only pick a different one if it really doesn't look right.
+ Take a look at the sample banner a couple of posts below.
+ Link (or attach) the pictures you'd like to use, and I'll get it done ASAP.

We really can do either, kinda make it a contest, draft some ideas, see what we like, that sort of thing

I personally would like to keep the "totem" character on each banner that made each person unique for it. This time however, I think im not going with Dias... so maybe we can all choose some sort of representation for ourselves... to stick on the banner, its time for an upgrade methinks though

and if we want a motto/phrase/quote to be on it, or just for SOLDIER's general purposes

I think we should go with a new banner style. Uniform, like the old SOLDIER banners, but also representative of ourselves and stuff. Pretty much like an updated version.

As for my character... thats a good one. Anyone have suggestions of who best represents me, in all of my sexyness, badassness and sheer stupidity?

I'm torn between Karsh from Chrono Cross and maybe Guile from Street Fighter. I'm leaning heavily towards Karsh though. However, if someone can suggest a better character, I'm all for it

I dunno... I see you as more of a Guile. Maybe that's just me.
And James, you seem like a Locke... all you thrifty Mormons are thieves.

In any case, uniform is very do-able. I can set up all 13 (or 12 or 10 or whatever) banners the exact same way, and just edit in the character picture for each person. When it comes to a character for me... I dunno... Sabin seems to be my staple character, but I'm a HUGE fan of Kain. Any suggestions?

I can start toying with different sizes and background options, attaching them here. It gives us some visuals to work with. And just because we have uniform backgrounds doesn't mean we have to have uniform background colors. Adds a touch more individuality that way, right?

Okay, here's the deal. We're all gonna have the same banner, BUT!

You go find me an image of the character you would like to represent you. Link me to it, or attach it here. Anything from sprites (I have most everything) to anime to CG is quite acceptable. It's YOUR character, and it should be your choice. However, I do have one request: your picture needs to match the class of your choice. (Keep reading.)

Psychosyd's banner will proclaim him the "King" -- he's our King Arthur in our round table. He can also choose a class. Lionheart2001 (it's changing soon) and myself will be the princes, with classes as well. The rest of you will all be classified as knights. Now, if you'd like a different title, just say so, and pick something off the list below. I'm gonna name a few job classes. If you'd like a different job class, then just say so.

Warrior
Ninja
Fighter
White Mage
Red Mage
Black Mage
Blue Mage
Summoner
Necromancer
etc... you get the idea. Job classes.
