I read all of the stuff in the banner thread, and call me bossy or hostile, but being in a clan means we need to have order. I talked with Cesar, and he agrees. Some people don't like his style of banners, they want different ones, whatever. Let's discuss this. One thing's for sure, we want them all the same size.

Believe it or not, I actually voted for Different Design, Same Size. Why? Well, a couple of reasons, really. I know for a fact that there's no way we're all ever going to agree upon a single design, because our tastes vary too much. However, reaching a size agreement is quite simple.

Now, the size of the banners I've got now is 300x100. I find it to be a reasonable size, but I'd be up for going wider. I don't think I'd like anything thicker though. Perhaps a 400x100? Maybe a 500x120?

In any case, let's leave this thread just for debating, and the other one for creation/posting of the banners (in case you have someone else make yours).

I don't mind having different banners, but we need to agree on stuff or it's just going to get annoying and stressful. Or maybe I'm just over-reacting... -__-;

I like the way things are proportioned now, actually. Me, personally, I like 400x100, but the 300x100 looks okay too. I think that if everyone who is willing to can make a sort of template for the Soldier banner makes one and shows it to us, we can all get an idea of the things that are out there, and maybe contribute ideas to make banners that we like even better. I don't know - just an idea.

I'm liking what Cesar has created already. It gets the message across and is uniform, yet gives us each our individuality. Granted, the others will probably do the same, but for the meantime, I think we should stick with what we have.

As for the size, I'm liking the 300x100. It's smaller, but it just proves that you don't need to make a giant crapfest (Shadow should take note... but he can't! HAHA) to be better than people.

Yeah, I like different styles and stuff because I always tend to sway from one design to another before I can actually settle on one, which is quite hard for me to decide on.

Yeah, I agree that setting a set resolution would be best to keep the similarity a bit together. It could work.

I like my banner... its rather old school spiffy...

but I do like the direction its going... its expected the banners will change over time... improve, remodel... its the tendancy of signitures...

the path we have chosen is a good one my friends... lets just keep up the good work
