Ya, Rose Island is made up. It actually originated in my very first RP on this forum

I think the Aeon/Temple relationship is a constant, afterall we already mentioned Ifrit being in Kilika Temple.

Here's a reminder of the Aeon/Temple colleration.

Besaid - Valefor
Kilika - Ifrit
Maclania - Shiva
Djose - Ixion
Bevelle - Bahumat
Baaj - Anima (though she doesn't exist yet)
Stolen Fayth - Yojimbo
Remiem - Magus Sisters

I don't think we'll be getting all of them though, since there isn't an abundance of underwater-swimming-summoners (except maybe Kei). Nor can anyone be bothered finding the key items needed for Remiem Temple

And about the race thing, I don't think it's really a literal 'race' but more of a 'simultaenous journey'
