Alright, what I was doing was pretty much control another character's conversation to mine so it would flow Smoothly? I think. I wouldn't do something that major like what you said on the above post. Same with Jecht's character. I guess I should've atleast asked permission first, but I assure I won't make a mistake like that again unless if I get carried away or get confronted.

Conversations I am completely open with, so I would not warn someone with godmodding a conversation. If you started making decisions for them or something, then you be godmodding. Otherwise, I expect people to write some of the conversation. A good RPer should be able to write in another person's character to understand them. If you spoke one line and held the conversation at that, you would never get anywhere with a story. You would be spending 10 posts just to get through two people speaking to each other.

Now the owner of the RP can be more strict on the amount of control. But that should be mentioned in the initial post. If you are having trouble writing a conversation that would how the other character would speak, then I would refrain probably. But if you are just making small talk, then you would not be godmodding, at least in my book.

Alright, then I'll step in. I don't want anyone to speak for another person's character. Period. If you want to hold a conversation with a another person's character, work on the post WITH them. Be it by msn, or just by PM. Come up with the dialogue together and then post the entry. If it's just little things like what Holocaust had, a couple sentences, I don't care if you just say, "Hey, can I have your character say a couple things in my post?" And then add them in if they say yes.

other than that, if its just looking around and noticing expressions, I don't care if you add that in yourself. Just don't put in an out of character expression.

I guess I should add this in to the first post then? Unless you feel that's a bit too much, Andromeda.

EDIT: Also, Holocaust, I believe you still need to add in a post about retrieving Satine's hat. Go ahead and work with Lady Rika on this if you plan on conversing. But, the Rp can't really be posted in until you do, seeing that she set her post up for yours to continue it.

One thing that I was hoping to clear up before we got too far into the soul society and everything. When you have people saying that they are 25, ten years later. Are they actually doing to look 25? Or at they going to look like a year older than their age of death, so they would look 16, but be 25. I am trying to know how much of a gap I will have with my character remaining 13 while the others will be aging. That they I know if there is going to a really big surprise/difference when seeing him. Everyone would either shrug it off because they have barely aged or they will all look like adults and they will wonder why he looks like a child still.

The way it works will affect a few things in the future simply for character interaction alone.

Im sorry if I used the term godmodding, thats just how me and my friends classify doing things that might not be allowed in roleplays.
I think unless its something rather simple, as in moving them from one place to another than it is needed sometimes.
But what holocaust was doing was controling a couple of peoples characters. Mine and a few others. And giving them dialouge, and movements and such.
I just have a pet peeve about controling other peoples characters without permission, but that's me and I will gladly ignore that if I am in the wrong as of now.

No, this thread will remain open for the duration of the RP's life. I keep them open because people can freely use them to discuss and keep in contact with the other members of the RP without having to use PMs and things. It might not be heavily used with the activity on the RP now rather than set up, but this will still play important roles as the RP progresses.

But yeah, by the rules that I enforce here. Just simply having a dialogue between both characters would not be considered godmodding. Every forum has different rules they play by. I try to encourage people to keep things flowing. So I don't penalize people that push along the RP by going through a few lines of conversation. Its not impacting the character's direction, if it is then they have gone a little too far. Anyway, I will not dwell on the matter further.

Use the thread here to work with others as well. Because I really do not want to see the RP hung up because you can only write one line of a conversation and wait. That would completely kill the progress.

To clear up Andromeda's question: The characters who are 13 in the story will look 23 after the "time-skip." The aging process doesn't seem to slow down for souls until the become shinigami, so that's the way we'll leave it. So, your character will look quite a bit younger than the others.

Attack and Defense would go under standard speciality, and Kidou under Shinigami speciality. You also need to pick a shinigami technique to minor in. Techniques include: Kidou, swordsmanship and shunpo. I know there's more, and they should be in the first post.

It's alright Diddy. You aren't the only one who hasn't posted. But thank you very much for notifing me of your progress. It's nice to know that people aren't just avoiding their post.

Also, Renji and I are currently putting members into divisions. We won't reveal to you what division you're in besides what you might come across in my journal until closer to the actual point in which you join said division. I may even have it be a list posted on a wall somewhere in the academy since we don't know how it really works. This would make it be just as much of a suprise to you as to your character. A lot of the events happening in the academy are going to be made up based on facts that we've learned up through the show. If one day we find out something we did was wrong, oh well, because they've left a lot for discussion in the show as it is.

Yeah, we cannot expect to be perfectly correct with this since there is little information given on the subject. Though one question. You are not going to be finalizing that list immediately are you? Because it would probably good to wait until it is closer to the point of joining a squad to completely finalize it. Since it is not necessarily known how the characters will be when they join the academy. Something might happen that would change what type of Shinigami they are and where they would be placed in the 13 squads.

People are going to be put into divisions based on the stats they picked in their profiles. If they decide that as the RP goes on that they want to change their stats based on what they've learned in the Academy, then all they have to do is notify me here or through PM. All I'm doing is typing up a list of people and their divisions on my computer. If it comes up that it should be changed, it can be changed. It won't even be final when we join the Protection Squads, as people get Division transfers all the time.

Yes, I am still waiting on people to post. Off the top of my head we need Diddy, Yuuki and Oathkeeper to post. There may be more then that, I'm not thinking too clearly right now.

As for your next post, I think it'll pretty much be clear when we get to that point. I just need to decide how much time we want to spend there. I'm actually think about collaborating with all the members to have one long post that details the events of the trip and initates the death scene. Then we'd just explain what we saw as individuals in seperate posts. However, I may choose to make it more then one post and have people take the trip in different directions. I'd be the only one to end it, however. Our death has already been planned out, and I will post how we die here when the event comes closer, so that you know what you're writing about when you plan what you "don't" see. Remember, the characters don't know what's happening even though YOU do.

Oathkeeper. Vey nice post actually. The only thing I want to point out is "Oto" punched the kid in the face, not "hawo". Also, forgive me for not using the characters full names, but I can't spell them off the top of my head yet. Other than that, very nice.

I was wondering something about the whole everyone dying. It sounds like this is going to be an unnatural death, though I am not certain since I do not know what you have in mind completely. But if it is an unnatural death, how many of the people are going to pass on naturally and others remain attached to the world for some period of time?

Are you going to have Shinigami come and do Konzo for those that do not pass on. Namely, the characters that we are playing. Since it is going to affect some things with the characters and development if they just pass on or require a Shinigami to have them pass on.

If so, you going to have some nameless Shinigami doing the honors or you going to sneak in a Bleach character?

That's a good question Andromeda. We are going to be killed by a rather oversized hollow. No one in the group will be able to see it at the time of our death however.

As for the konzo, yes, I'll have a shinigami be patrolling the area and find the scene shortly after we die. A random shinigami would make things easy, but throwing in a bleach character would be pretty fun wouldn't it? I hadn't really thought about that. I was planning on said random shinigami. But I think I may reconsider now. We'll just have to wait and find out, no? ^_^

She hasn't been on the forums for a while, since posting her profile actually. I'll be in touch with (I'll try to make it everyone) you guys for dialouge and such. It'll most likely be a fairly long post, so I'm hoping Yuuki will come back by the time renji and I are done with the posts. We may have to move on without her post. If that's the case...well we'll just be missing a character intro. she can probably scatter it throughout her first few posts.

I don't want to keep people waiting any longer. I can't wait to get to Soul Society either.
