Kingdom Hearts: The Black Dawn

Overview: This RP is a Kingdom Hearts spinoff, with a few additions to the KH universe of my own. I shouldn't have to explain the setting in too much detail for those who have already played the game. For those who have not, I suggest googling it and researching a bit, as I don't plan to explain what should already be known by players. This will take place during the time period in which Chain of Memories and 358/2 Days occured, so between 1 & 2. This RP will contain one major change from the original universe. A second Nobody Organization of my own creation, The Black Dawn. Founded by another Nobody who worked with Xemnas long ago. Its goal is similar, but its methods are quite different. Though Nobodies, being without hearts can't truly be 'good' or 'evil', the Black Dawn plays the heroic role in contrast to the 'evil' Organization XIII.

Setting: This RP takes place in multiple worlds. Players of Kingdom hearts should already understand that concept. The main thing I'm adding to the mix is a second Nobody organization, the Black Dawn. They have their own world, just like Organization XIII. This forgotten world lays alongside Twilight and Traverse Towns. It is known as Transient Town, though the town has long since disappeared. Transient Town, as its name implies, is not permanent, but fleeting. Never really there, but never completely gone. Only those who know where it is can go there. Any Disney or FF worlds are fair game in this RP, I'm not limitting it to worlds that actually appeared in KH.

Races
Human: If we need explanation, we've got problems.
Non-Human: This is anything that doesn't fall into other categories. So Disneyish characters like Donald, Goofy, The Beast, stuff like that would fall into this category.
Heartless: A being who has either lost their heart, or given it away willingly by allowing it to be consumed by darkness. They normally do not take human shape, but there are exceptions.
Nobody: When a heartless is created, sometimes, if the victim was strong enough, they may leave something behind. A shell of sorts, an empty body that retains fragments of what it once was, but is missing a very important piece. The heart. Normally Nobodies do not take human shape, but on occasion, some are very strong, and retain memories of their former lives, and because of this, can retain a similar shape to what they once were.

Name: Xaon

Age: 3 (was 32 when his original self became a heartless)

Race: Nobody

Allignment: Black Dawn

Weapon: Morpheus, a strange chaotic matter that can reshape itself into any weapon that has ever been used against Xaon. It normally takes shape as a longsword with a black hilt with white trim, and a white blade with black trim.

Spells: Curaga, Flare, Holy, Ultima

Appearance: He stands at 6'1", and is fairly well built. He has flowing blonde hair, and bright blue eyes. He wears a cloak similar to those worn by Organization XIII, except that it is mostly white, with a black trim, and decorated by the many symbols of this mysterious order.

Personality: Though he is a Nobody, he experiences brief bursts of emotion now and then. He is normally kind and friendly, yet mysterious, and reserved.

History: His past as a human was filled with pain. Eventually he began to drown in his own sorrow, and became a heartless. Though his original being was gone, Xaon remained, a Nobody. Together with a man claiming to be the Nobody of Ansem the Wise, he founded what would later become Organization XIII. He realized Xemnas' ambitions, and that he didn't care who he hurt on his way to getting what he wanted. Their partnership ended there, and they parted ways. Organization XIII currently believes he is deceased. He secretly created a new organization, the Black Dawn, to ensure the Organization would not be able to cause as much damage, and to find a way to restore the hearts of he and his followers. He has no love for Organization XIII, lesser Nobodies, or Heartless, though he has used them all as pawns to further his goals.

[Natural Disaster]

Name: Haruka
Age: 15
Race: Human
Alignment: Hero
Weapon: It’s high quality Sword but other than that it’s just a regular sword, noting to special about it.
Spells: Aero, Cherry Blossom, Cura, Cure, Ice Brand, Liquid Steel, Water, Ice Spike, Enaero, Watera, Flash, & Summon.
Appearance: Haruka stands at about 5’2. She has cloudy Blue eyes. She’s slender, not so much athletic, but she’s rather small. She’s about 110 lbs. She Has Light brown hair that reaches about mid back. She’s rather pale. She wears a baggy long sleeved White shirt, Similar to a button up top. She has to gray/Sliver bands almost like bracelets on the outside of the top that wrap around her elbows. Over her White top she wears a sleeveless blue dress, That goes to about fingertip length( if you wear to stand up with your hands to your sides, wear your fingertips are.)It has to slits on both sides of the dress, un both the front & back of the dress, there is white & blue design near the bottom. She normally wears black leggings. And Brown boots (that go to about her knees)Over the dress she has brown belt, that is put tightly over her waist. Well she has a black belt put more loosely around her waist, with a sword holster.

Personality: Haruka is much like the meaning of her name; Far off, Distant. She prefers to keep mostly to herself, other than the 2 close friends she has; Whom she is more open with. She, when annoyed (which she is easily, by people who lie, cheat, Say they can do the impossible, or are just flat out obnoxious) she tends to be rather sarcastic or go so far as to physically injure( for example: Putting someone in a head lock, or back hand them, punch them in the arm, nothing to serious). She is rather smart. She’s lazy (to an extent; She will do some physical work if she must, but avoids it When she can, she hates paper work). She is driven, and will do almost anything to prove that she is right, when she knows she is. She tends to look to the darker side of things, so she would be the half empty glass kind of person.
History:
Haruka was born into a small family of 4. Her parents had no siblings and their parents had died long ago, her brother was about 5 years older than herself. They had a very close Family relationship, Then when Haruka was 8 years old, she was out playing in town with her friends Andrew & Amy. While she was off playing, her family’s house caught on fire; and all but her died in the fire that day, Haruka the sweet, innocent, sociable child died that night as well. Distraught and grief stricken by the sudden death of her family, She grew distant, afraid to let anyone else in (other than Andrew and Amy) fearing they might abandon her, and never return. Amy’s family let her stay with them, because they knew that Haruka had nowhere else to go. Haruka growing up with Amy, had an ok life due to Amy’s family being rather well off. She took sword lessons from Amy’s father to learn how to defend herself; She soon to see Amy’s family as her own. Haruka began to become notably closer to one of her Best friends, Andrew, around the age of 13. She began to develop feelings for him very quickly, though she wouldn’t admit to anyone but Amy. She has just recently set out on a journey to help people, to ease their suffering (because she knows how it feels) so that no one has to feel that way.

Name: Rixor (Ry-Soar), Number III

Age: 2 (become a Nobody when he was 28)

Race: Nobody

Allignment: Black Dawn

Weapon: Daggers, before he became a Nobody he was skilled in the art of close combat and uses the two Daggers that he is most proficient with, the handle is silver in color and the blades are midnight black with a silver outline

Spells: Curaga, Blizzaga, Freeze, Stop

Appearance: Standing at 6'0 tall Rixor appears to be a typical looking man with silver hair, that is short and spiked, and icy blue eyes. He adorns the Black Dawn cloak which appears much like that of the Organization but is mostly white, with a black trim, and decorated by the many symbols of this mysterious order. His most noticeable trait is the scar across his left eye that run from his forehead across his eyelid.

Personality: When he was a complete being he enjoyed the comraderie that came with a group but as a Nobody he is reluctant to trust anyone fully. He tends to prefer to do jobs by himself, though he wishes that he had someone that he could count on. He will levitate to new members, in order to possibly strike up the bond that he has been missing.

History: As a whole being, Rori enjoyed the company of his two closest friend, Lea and Isa. The three were always seen around their home world Radiant Garden and were constantly around the research facility of Ansem the Wise and his six apprentices as they did mysterious work on the heart. After the apprentices had succumbed to the darkness and become Nobodies the Heartless came after the three companions when they were sneaking around the research facility. Several Heartless were able to pin down Isa but Rori would not let them take his friend so easily, he shot in destroying the Heartless with swift swings of his blades and helped Isa to his feet. Just as Isa walked towards Lea a Giant Heartless emerged from the depths and grabbed Rori. Screaming for help Lea and Isa only retreated as he was dragged into the darkness. Betrayed by his friends the power in Rori's heart allowed him to keep his physical form and wander the Worlds without a heart. After learning that Isa and Lea had both been taken by the darkness and become Saix and Axel in the Organization, Rori wished nothing more than to seek out his revenge. This is when he was approached by Xaon, a former member of the Organization that wished to keep them in check by forming his own group of strong Nobodies. Rori was glad to accept his proposition and became Rixor, the third member of the Black Dawn.

Perfect, I'd like mto get this moving, so I'm going to throw a few more character profiles up here, then make the intro post in the Structured Rp section.

Name: Xiam (Zy-am)

Age: 3 (her former self became a heartless at age 26)

Race: Nobody

Allignment: Black Dawn

Weapon: Black Rose, a long, slender black whip with a spiraling white line running along its length. This design is meant to confuse the eye, making it nearly inpossible to tell where her strikes are coming from.

Spells: Fire, Blizzard, Thunder, Cure, Haste

Appearance: She stands at 5'7", and has long black hair and deep green eyes. She wears only the Black Dawn robes and a necklace from her previous life.

Personality: Though without heart, she has strong memories of what it is like to feel, and she was once a very emotional person. She is normally a bit bubbly, but very easy to send into a rage. Whoever said "Hell hath no fury like a woman's scorn", must have angered her at one point.

History: She was once a love interest of Xaon's, or rather, Noa's. Her name was Ami. Unfortunately, neither of thier nobodies remember each other, yet feel a strange connection to one another. She was a founding member of the Black Dawn after meeting Xaon.

Name: Dawn

Age: 8 days

Race: Dawn

Allignment: Black Dawn

Weapon: hand-to-hand (for now)

Spells: Fira, Blizzara, Thundara, Cura, (for now)

Appearance: She stands at 5'7", and has white eyes. She rarely removes her hood, but is somewehat curvy, and has long black hair. She has an average build. A very... normal appearance, no outstanding characteristics. (for now)

Personality: She is in every sense of the word, normal. Very little personality of her own, she acts much like everyone around her.

History: She is the first succesful creation of a long standing Black Dawn experiment. It was theorized that memories of a past life were what allowed some Nobodies to retain human form. This experiment implanted memories into lesser Nobodies, with the assumtion that they would be able to give them human form. Given memories of a generic past programmed by XIam, a Dusk became Dawn. She assumed a very generic appearance with little personality.

Here is a bio for the new character that I will be controlling.

Name: Xain (Zay-In), Number V

Age: 0 (become a Nobody when he was 26)

Race: Nobody

Allignment: Black Dawn

Weapon: Two Katanas, when he was a whole being the hilt's were blue adorned with precious jewels but after joining the Black Dawn they have been colored white with three pearls on each hilt.

Spells: Fira, Flare, Flamesaber

Appearance: At tall and well built man, Xain stands at 6'4 and has a domineering appearance. His two katanas are always strung on his back creating an X across his chest. He has long jet black hair, fire red eyes, and adorns the Black Dawn cloak.

Personality: A strong willed fighter, he relies more on his efficiency with his katanas then spell-binding. Bends fire to his will and uses it more to enhance his sword strikes. He is very out-spoken when his motives are called into question but always plans before acting.

History: As a whole being, Ian called Hollow Bastion home. He trained under a master of swords and took up two katanas as his weapon of choice. He served on the protection force of Hollow Bastion as the lead officer for the team working to restore Hollow Bastion to it's former glory along with Leon, Aerith, Yuffie, and Cid. He became a Nobody on a day that Xaon and Rixor were on a mission to convert more people into Dusks. When Xaon unleashed the Darkness his strong heart was not going to let his body give in thus he became a Nobody. Rixor appraoched him and introduced him to the Black Dawn, an organization after obtaining new hearts for it's members. He accepted the offer to join the group hesitantly and met Xaon at the groups base where he became Xain, the fifth member of the Organization. He fights with a fire in his heart and thus was granted the dominion over fire upon becoming a Greater Nobody.

Name: Kōri (English translation: Ice)

Age:25

Race: Human

Alignment: Hero

Weapon: Gambler's Dream. Fists, a deck of cards that can slice through virtually anything, and some dice that can smash virtually anything

Spells: Curaga, Blizzaga, Thundaga, Firaga, Hastega, Ultima, Reflect, Slow, Revive, Teleport

Appearance: 5' 5" Short blonde hair, blue eyes, tight black shorts, tight black short tank top, black pumps.

Personality: She doesn't show any emotion, and she appears to be cold as ice, unless she's around people she's close to. She is an extremely nice woman and has a big heart, but that doesn't stop her from doing what she needs to.

History: Her father abused her as a child, but then at the age of 16, she beat him to death. After that, she left home with a bag and wandered around. She want to some casinos when she was of age, and realized she was a pretty good gambler, and that led to her two throwing weapons, her cards and dice. One day she met Merlin in Traverse Town, and he taught her some spells. She lived her life fighting the Organization with Burakku, and then she heard of the Black Dawn, and realized she had another opponent...

Name: Burakku (English translation, Black)

Age: 4

Race: Non-human (Panther)

Alignment: Hero

Weapon: Mistress Guard. Long, extremely sharp gold extensions for his front claws and fangs.

Spells: Teleport, Holy, Curaga, Revive, Ultima, Confuse

Personality: He is a fierce cat and is very loyal to her mistress. He doesn't attack without Kōri's say-so. Once he likes you he is a very nice cat with alot to share.

History: When he was born a professor stole him form his mother and preformed experiments on him. Eventually he could talk, think, and use spells like a human, but to get these Burakku had to go through extreme pain. At the age of 2 he escaped, and was alone for 3 month. then he was found by Kōri and he knew that she would take good care of him. He now fights alongside Kōri in the effort to destroy Organization VIII, and then he heard about the Black Dawn...
