My first in a long time, guys. I hope I see some old faces in here. As well as eagerly anticipating some people I may not have seen before.

Plot:
Each country in Sar had pushed themselves in an uneasy alliance. Following the wars of the past the had gathered to sign a piece of paper. Paper that held more weight than kings and queens, emporers and generals. Non-the-less it was signed, reluctantly by some, willfully and even gladly by others. After six consecutive wars it seemed the only option. Out of the ashes was born a state of prosperity for all.

In the country of Galarai the world was as it should be. Every day evolving slowly into the next without incident. Each college minding its own buisiness and keeping their secrets. These secrets, however, would lead to mistrust. Eventually this mistrust would lead to verbal fueds, and all out war.

With two of the five colleges already rushing into conflict with one another. The others are left to guess the victor and try to calculate when they, themselves, would be thrown violently into the frey. Debating even amongst their own people about the point in forming the alliance, only to fight their own. Some would say the world couldnt function without war. However none even pondered on the one thought that mattered, what were the other countries doing?

In truth, the other countries saw Galarai's weakness. The civil war was the perfect opertunity to steal relics, gold and the most powerful and valuable prize available in the world... Magical knowledge. These reasons drew the powerful country of Welia into a secret war. Moving in with spies, thieves and small bands of elite units.

One by one the great minds of Galarai were beginning to dissapear. The colleges blissfully unaware. Their paranoia leading to distruction. Soon the College Masters would notice. Soon all five colleges would spring into action, but who against?


The Colleges:
Cro- Specialises in the usage of Ice based magic.
Freya.
Victoria.
R. Kyra.
Judge Magistrate.

Sol- Specialises in the usage of Fire based magic.
Hyzenthlay.
Lucid.
Heartless Angel.

Fize- Specialises in the usage of Electric based magic.
Ruin.

Suin- Specialises in the usage of Earth based magic.

Drasna- Specialises in the 'unknown' magic. This includes warping, psychic energies and generation (healing arts and summoning).
Loaf.

Wila 'the dark college'- The colleges original studies were that of wind based magics. However, their study quickly turned a more sinister route.
The masters and students of this college soon realised the power they held. The power to control oxygen, giving it or taking it away. This lead to the land they lived in dying. The life of the land withering as they used every bit of oxygen and mana it had to give. They watched the land die. Yet they still strived for mastery of this new found skill.
Their lust for mana and power drove them to worse extremes still. They began on the ritual sacrifice of humans. This enabled them to control the persons life-force. In Wila terms, they found, a life-force was as good as mana. If not stronger. They found that they no longer needed a healthy land around them. No trees, or rivers... No life.
They pushed themselves to magical limit. Using their powers of wind; some could control inanimate objects; turning them into powerful tools of war. Some even managed to manipulate bodies, making the walk, run, dance and even fight. This gave them power over other armies. They had limitless armies at their disposal. In theory. If they hadn't been stopped, they could have taken the world as their own. Each army crushed under an unbeatable force of corpses and 'object weaponry'.
Their plans were foiled. The other colleges got wind of their schemes. Villages and town began to report people missing. Each one disappearing just as the college visited. To these claims the colleges reacted, sending in emissaries and inspection squads.
What they found disturbed them greatly and led to the shutting down of Wila college. Wila then fought with the other colleges, all at once. This lead to a massacre of epic proportions. Every member of the house of Wila was hunted, and killed.
The college was pushed from the history books. This was to prevent their studies ever being copied.
What the other colleges didnt know, however, is that members of the 'dark college' did survive. They were in hiding, their mana thick with sacrifice. Waiting and biding their time. Waiting, for revenge.

College Location infomation:

I always thought of the colleges positioning as kinda like a slightly off hexagon. So the distance from one to the next depends on which corner you are. In order I'd say this Sol (bottom left moving anti-clockwise), Cro, fize, Suin, Drasna and Wila. That would make fize the same distance from Cro but twice that from Sol.

My initial thought was that the colleges surrounded the capital city also so that gives you and idea of its location.

Notes:All of the colleges also teach other magics, though only the basics for the most part. They also teach other lessons you'd expect at a school/college such as history, art etc. You can also add lessons like sword lessons or... Whatever... They also have years (grades) these can range from say age 5 to 21.

I'll also give you the option to be from Welia, though I'd prefer it if you were from Galarai. You can also make up your teacher/ leaders names. You can even be a teacher if it make syou happy, ha ha.

Age: 21
Personality: A laid back persona mulls away within him. He finds even the most stressful situations barely scratch his nerves. Finding humour in most situations sees him through the day. It also gets him in alot of trouble within the college. He is prone to missing lessons and failing the lessons he finds less important. However it also leads to him having many friends, too. Other people find him funny, also finding his skill in his 'chosen' lessons awe-inspiring.
Appearance: Long, ponytailed, red hair. Hazel eyes sit within shallow eye sockets. His face young, giving him the appearance of a boy in his late teens. He wears a set of light, brown woven armour, embroided with patterns with leather pads sewn into the elbows and shoulders. His trousers are of a slightly darker brown and end in a set of dark, almost black leather boots. Moulded with a steel toe cap. In the colleges fashion he wears no gauntlets, due to the nature of the magic they teach, Fire. As such all of his clothes lack metalic armout of any kind and give off a slight orange glow.
College: Sol
Weaponry: He carries a light, thin bladed longsword. He uses no shield.

Name: Wendy Farranda
Age: 20
Personality: Wendy is a quiet girl who mostly sits in a corner and doesn't say anything. She is the kind of person who is always alone and enjoys it. She reads many books and tries to learn everything from her books, but she's not good at casting Ice, so she shies away from other persons. She isn't totally intelligent, but she isn't dumb either. She is just a normal, quiet, shy girl.
Appearance: Her dark brown hair falls loosely on her shoulders. She isn't tall, rather small. Because she doesn't eat much (or isn't seen doing it), she is quite thin. She always wears dark blue clothes, mostly a shirt and a skirt. When you go past her you don't notice her easily.
College: Cro
Weaponry: a staff for casting magic

Name: Ragnar d'Aconia

Age: 17

Appearance: Light brown hair that comes down to his neck. He is rather short for his age but rather muscular. His right arm hangs uselessly at his side, singed in a childhood accident by an older cousin who was attending studies at Cro. He usually wears simple clothes, but when in battle he has learned to make an earth armor that covers his entire body yet still allows him to maneuver in battle.

Personality: He is a man of few words, although when he does speak most have learned to listen. He abhors fire in all forms and so prefers the night. Because most people discount him at first glance, due to his arm, he has spent most of his free time since that day of the accident learning to overcome it. He finally succeeded three weeks ago when he was able to form a magical arm that he had full control of. Since then he has now expanded it to his full body, much to the astonishment of both his teachers and his peers.

College: Suin

Weaponry: He is still quite clumsy with his left hand so he prefers the close range of a dagger. When he dons his magic armor, he uses his reinforced fists in close combat.

Name: Lortin (Doesn't know his last name...yet)

Age: 19

Personality: A.D.D., always talking or thinking to himself. Has a powerful and smart mind but can't control himself. Very kind gentleman. One of the nicest people anyone will meet, very shy and very quiet (at times). Not the most courageous person, but don't push your luck. One way of calming him down is actually reading a GOOD book.

Since recent addition to his physic and mind. He has overcome his A.D.D., he continues to think to himself a lot. He is controlling his mind a lot better now. He is also becoming more ruthless.

Appearance: Tall black crazy spiky hair, standing at 5'2(without his hair, with hair at 5'10). Has one green eye and one silver eye. A birthmark on the top right of his forehead. Wears a suit without a tie and without the over shirt buttoned.

College: Drasna

Weaponry: Normally doesn't use a weapon, mainly in the fear he would hurt himself more then hurting others. If he needs to use a weapon, it is a Bo Staff.

After the destruction of his Staff, he now wields a long sword.

Name: "Lord" Felzen Rosh III

Age:16

Personality: A silent, thoughtful young man, Felzen wants to have many friends but often comes off as the cold, calculating type. Thus, he has few friends. He has a deep love of the living things of the earth and has the self-proclaimed title of "Lord of the wild earth". He usually explores the land and has considerable knowledge on many topics, from wildlife to weather, plants and the terrain. Also harbors a deep mistrust and hatred for the unnatural sorcery that Drasna students use, calling it heresy against the natural world. Otherwise he deeply respects the other colleges. From his avid studies at Suin, he has gained a level of control over the earth, able to form it at his will.

Appearance: Short, black hair with a thin beard. Stands close to 6 feet tall. Sunken look to his face with dark brown eyes. A thin man, yet muscular from all the exploring. Dresses in practical clothing for adventuring and wears sturdy arnor when in the deeper parts of the wild.

College: Suin

Weaponry:Two tonfas for close combat. Otherwise, he uses a mace that hides a length of cord that, when stretched, turns it into a flail.

Name: Aloin Mefirit

Age: 16

Personality: A clever but somewhat cold young man who shuns most social contact. This is not out of any dislike for or inability to communicate with other people, but a strong devotion to a single goal that he set himself when he joined the college. It is the basis for almost all his decisions, who he talks to, how he spends his money, and how he uses his spare time. He wants nothing more than to save his sister, or at least find a grave to mourn. The petty disputes between the colleges mean nothing to him, all he cares about is what he can learn from them, and the connections they can give him. He choose Drasna because he used magic in a way that they could improve and also because of its somewhat seedy under world where he might find information about his sister or the beginings of a trail to follow.
His magic of choice is summoning, and he is an adept at summoning both living and non living creatures. He is even able to withstand fusion with the creatures he summons but he finds this a pain as it tends to draw unwanted attention from just about anybody who knows anything about magic, and a lot of people who don't.

Appearance: Aloin has deep red hair that frames a handsome, if not a little pale, face. His eyes are a constantly changing sea of colour that reflects any unusually strong emotion, yet they remain for the most part a steady violet colour that glints brilliantly against the slightly drooping eyelids of boredom. He wears a simple black shirt, cropped slightly around his waist with the untucked tails extending down his thighs. On his legs he wears a pair of flexible dark brown trousers that give him complete freedom of movement should the need arise. Dangling around his neck is a delicate looking silver pendent with a masterfully intricate raised design that depicts an undine encircling the pendent itself, the hairline crack where it opens is almost completely unnoticeable a tetament to the skill of the crafter.

College: Drasna

Weaponry: A broad bladed spear made from a magically embued alloy of his own devising, it is able to cut spectral and magic based energies/creatures

Name: Dean Bull
Age:18
Personality:He is very friendley and helpfull to most but he is also really quiet to those he does not trust.His father was killed in the first war way before he was born and his mother was held in prision for not letting him fight in the next war at the age of 15. His main purpose for joining the school secretly is to get closer to the prision within it and free his mom.
Appearance:He is 6 Ft. tall, 160 IBS, black skin, blue eyes, black low cut hair and goatee. He wears black dress pants,shoes,dress shirt, leather gloves, and belt. He also has two katana seaths on his back.
College:Cro
Weaponry:two double bladed katanas made with a magical steel which alows him to slash out an ice slash that can cut through an enemy and freeze the wound at the same time.

Personality: Kinda of a joker and outgoing when it comes to women. But also is a very serious person. Is very nice to people and doesn't judge people out to be bad unless he really sinces something bad about them.
Appearance: Has short spiked black hair, brown eyes. Is very toned with muscle. Not gaint, but has very good muslce tone. 6'1", 185lb, and has a tattoo of a demon praying with an upside down cross wraped around in the praying hands on the left side of his chest. Also he has another tattoo of the grime reaper with wings on his right forearm.

Age: 21

Personality: Hot headed and energetic, she often finds herself biting off more than she can chew. Her philosophy is simple, life wouldn't be fun without a little risk. Due to the eccentric attitude she employs she often finds herself at distance with anyone she tries to get close too but everyone at Fize is so uptight anyway!

Appearance: Zipporah dresses commonly in her rendition of the Fize college uniform. Such an attire consists of the common yellow and black bandanna tied around her head which causes an overflow of her light brown hair. The yellow and black ensemble fits tightly around her slim figure thanks to homemade alterations. The sleeves are cut off her shirt revealing the many symbols tattooed all along her forearms, triceps, and leading to her back. The same type of alterations have been done to her pants which are more like short shorts now, again revealing a plethora of tattoos down the back and sides of her legs. She tops the outfit off with a pair of black boots.

College: Fize

Weaponry: A great large axe which she uses with ease by manipulating the magnetic fields surrounding it.

ugh, sorry for taking so long to post, I could have got it done sooner but I lost a lot of the work when my computer randomly restarted. Anyway I hope I haven't taken to many liberties with the whole summoning side of magic but seeing as i'm the only one using it it's probably not going to matter

Sorry, I was in a rush last night so I overlooked a few questions.

Atma- the colleges at war are Sol and another college called Wila.
Wila PURPOSELY isnt on the main college list, there is a reason for this and you will see why. Believe me.
Atma 2- No plot lines can be crossed yet. It is centerd around the individual college experiances right now. Just write to your hearts content. You'll know when you are drawing near to the main plot.

Ulteka- Yes, there is a point. You'll see that also. Like I said; do as much damage as you like but the NPC attackers CANNOT die.
Ulteka 2-Also, your own enemy is fine as long as it fit in with everything else thats going on. Okay? By that I only mean I dont want something like; "My name is Steve, I've come for the jewels of the night."
Ulteka 3-And for your third and final question, we are fighting against Wila. Or, whats left of that college- the members of this college will be revealed in my post later on today.
They are my pride and joy, these guys. Also, if you use your head, you guys can look which magic is missing and assume what their powers will be. Think of the magic then what might be possible with mastery of this.

This only applies to Sol, other colleges- feel free to kill all the people you want. Those can be the knights from Welia which are NOT the black armoured knights. The knights of Welia wear normal armour. I'd prefer if you guys made the attackers of you individual colleges your own. After all, nobody KNOWS that it is Welia that is attacking Galarai.

It also makes it alot easier for you, and more interesting for me and others to read and follow.

I don't know. It seems to me that the person who made the RP should be in charge of where the plot goes. I mean, you can't really progress into a story without the Game Master telling everyone what's happening. Without direction, the RP would just turn into a "off and doing your own thing" kind of deal which isn't the point of RPing.

Hyz, your story seems interesting. Is it too late to join?

Loner kid, it's only open based right now. Thats what I'm aiming for. I want it to be complete turmoil, havok, chaos... Whatever. Like I said in the OOC intro, who will fight who? It's only when the main protagonist makes himself known that I will expect people to follow the plot I lay out.

As for now, I'm happy with whats going on. If I wasn't I would ask you to change it, dont think that I wouldn't. Ha ha.

I have a task for you all. I was going to wait a few posts but a recent idea has mant I have to act now. Anyway, your task:

I want each of you to mention the capture of a teacher. This must be by an 'unknown' force. This could be a teacher that everybody respects. Or a teacher that is intellegent, or even terrifying. This is VITAL to the plot. Any people from Sol needn't worry, although you are welcome to add another teacher to that of Julio.
This capture could be in the night, in the middle of a battle. It could even be under completely unknown circumstances, it's up to you.
Anyway, please do this.
