My first in a long time, guys. I hope I see some old faces in here. As well as eagerly anticipating some people I may not have seen before.
Plot:
Each country in Sar had pushed themselves in an uneasy alliance. Following the wars of the past the had gathered to sign a piece of paper. Paper that held more weight than kings and queens, emporers and generals. Non-the-less it was signed, reluctantly by some, willfully and even gladly by others. After six consecutive wars it seemed the only option. Out of the ashes was born a state of prosperity for all.
In the country of Galarai the world was as it should be. Every day evolving slowly into the next without incident. Each college minding its own buisiness and keeping their secrets. These secrets, however, would lead to mistrust. Eventually this mistrust would lead to verbal fueds, and all out war.
With two of the five colleges already rushing into conflict with one another. The others are left to guess the victor and try to calculate when they, themselves, would be thrown violently into the frey. Debating even amongst their own people about the point in forming the alliance, only to fight their own. Some would say the world couldnt function without war. However none even pondered on the one thought that mattered, what were the other countries doing?
In truth, the other countries saw Galarai's weakness. The civil war was the perfect opertunity to steal relics, gold and the most powerful and valuable prize available in the world... Magical knowledge. These reasons drew the powerful country of Welia into a secret war. Moving in with spies, thieves and small bands of elite units.
One by one the great minds of Galarai were beginning to dissapear. The colleges blissfully unaware. Their paranoia leading to distruction. Soon the College Masters would notice. Soon all five colleges would spring into action, but who against?
The Colleges:
Cro- Specialises in the usage of Ice based magic.
Freya.
Victoria.
R. Kyra.
Judge Magistrate.
Sol- Specialises in the usage of Fire based magic.
Hyzenthlay.
Lucid.
Heartless Angel.
Fize- Specialises in the usage of Electric based magic.
Ruin.
Suin- Specialises in the usage of Earth based magic.
Drasna- Specialises in the 'unknown' magic. This includes warping, psychic energies and generation (healing arts and summoning).
Loaf.
Wila 'the dark college'- The colleges original studies were that of wind based magics. However, their study quickly turned a more sinister route.
The masters and students of this college soon realised the power they held. The power to control oxygen, giving it or taking it away. This lead to the land they lived in dying. The life of the land withering as they used every bit of oxygen and mana it had to give. They watched the land die. Yet they still strived for mastery of this new found skill.
Their lust for mana and power drove them to worse extremes still. They began on the ritual sacrifice of humans. This enabled them to control the persons life-force. In Wila terms, they found, a life-force was as good as mana. If not stronger. They found that they no longer needed a healthy land around them. No trees, or rivers... No life.
They pushed themselves to magical limit. Using their powers of wind; some could control inanimate objects; turning them into powerful tools of war. Some even managed to manipulate bodies, making the walk, run, dance and even fight. This gave them power over other armies. They had limitless armies at their disposal. In theory. If they hadn't been stopped, they could have taken the world as their own. Each army crushed under an unbeatable force of corpses and 'object weaponry'.
Their plans were foiled. The other colleges got wind of their schemes. Villages and town began to report people missing. Each one disappearing just as the college visited. To these claims the colleges reacted, sending in emissaries and inspection squads.
What they found disturbed them greatly and led to the shutting down of Wila college. Wila then fought with the other colleges, all at once. This lead to a massacre of epic proportions. Every member of the house of Wila was hunted, and killed.
The college was pushed from the history books. This was to prevent their studies ever being copied.
What the other colleges didnt know, however, is that members of the 'dark college' did survive. They were in hiding, their mana thick with sacrifice. Waiting and biding their time. Waiting, for revenge.
College Location infomation:
I always thought of the colleges positioning as kinda like a slightly off hexagon. So the distance from one to the next depends on which corner you are. In order I'd say this Sol (bottom left moving anti-clockwise), Cro, fize, Suin, Drasna and Wila. That would make fize the same distance from Cro but twice that from Sol.
My initial thought was that the colleges surrounded the capital city also so that gives you and idea of its location.
Notes:All of the colleges also teach other magics, though only the basics for the most part. They also teach other lessons you'd expect at a school/college such as history, art etc. You can also add lessons like sword lessons or... Whatever... They also have years (grades) these can range from say age 5 to 21.
I'll also give you the option to be from Welia, though I'd prefer it if you were from Galarai. You can also make up your teacher/ leaders names. You can even be a teacher if it make syou happy, ha ha.

Personality: A laid back persona mulls away within him. He finds even the most stressful situations barely scratch his nerves. Finding humour in most situations sees him through the day. It also gets him in alot of trouble within the college. He is prone to missing lessons and failing the lessons he finds less important. However it also leads to him having many friends, too. Other people find him funny, also finding his skill in his 'chosen' lessons awe-inspiring.
Appearance: Long, ponytailed, red hair. Hazel eyes sit within shallow eye sockets. His face young, giving him the appearance of a boy in his late teens. He wears a set of light, brown woven armour, embroided with patterns with leather pads sewn into the elbows and shoulders. His trousers are of a slightly darker brown and end in a set of dark, almost black leather boots. Moulded with a steel toe cap. In the colleges fashion he wears no gauntlets, due to the nature of the magic they teach, Fire. As such all of his clothes lack metalic armout of any kind and give off a slight orange glow.

Weaponry: He carries a light, thin bladed longsword. He uses no shield.
