Dead or Alive ... Cid

Since i haven't seen this I thought i might make a thread about it. I was just wandering because i am currently playing final fantasy VI on an emulator and I just passed the part where you get to nurse Cid to health ....
I just caught any fish and fed it to him and then he passed away

Unfortunately he died ........

So just wandering did you nurse him to health or did you just let him die ?

I think the first time I ever played the game he died on me. I didn't even know that you could restore him to good health until the second time I played.

I've had him live every time since then.

well just yesterday i purposely restarted the game too see what happens when he lives but nothing special happened at all, i prefer when he dies because then Celes try's and commit suicide

Then she wakes up like nothing happened and heads off to find everybody else


She can't cook and she isn't good at ending it all. But she is a good fighter.


So how did that conversation go?


Locke: Celes!!! Your alive!!! Where have you been!!


Celes: Well, I was on an island with Cid and he was sick so I took care of him, but I fed him some poisonous fish and he died. A few minutes later I tried jumping off a cliff, but that didn't work, so I got bored and decided to look for you guys.

And I shouted at Celes when she tried to commit suicide then. .,. I could totally understand her and that was the reason why I hated the World of Ruin in the first place. ^^" It was all so sad. T_T"
I hope when I replay it I'll give Cid the good fish .-."

just dont giv him the really slow fish, because tht decreases his health

you have to give him the fast moving and the medium moving fish. But it takes alwhile and nohing special happens

At first i gave him a good fish then i looked away from the screen and kept clicking a and unfourtunatley i gave him the bad fish i had and he died
