Fairly self-explanatory, post your favourite lyrics. Gives reasons if you want. You don't have to defend the fact that you appreciate something though.

I have quite a few. One of my favourites would have to be these:

The lyrics just strike a chord with me (no pun intended). I believe that music is becoming generic and bland. It's just a shame that the old and new have been smashed together. It's a crying shame that the only way bands try to make music fresh is by mashing to different genres togther (usually badly, in my opinion).

This is a sad song, and i find that it reminds me that I'm getting older and I really really really hate it. I'm 18 and already wishing I would stop at the moment
