What makes music to influence you?

Remember our music, when we get attached with it, plays a big role of our life... it's influence on us? whether be good or bad...

I mean..... it's everything to me. Since my Uncle put me on to his music, I breathe hip hop. The hooks, punchlines, delivery, instrumentals, and every single point of songwriting is all I'm about. Why I feel this way is because I know that music can't betray or do me wrong. Most people who love any type of music can say that they like it but can't express their passion for it. It's just a nice tune to their ears.

For me...... it's far deeper than that. It's how I know to express myself. If I'm feeling sad, I'll write about the diffuculties of getting money or someone who was close to me.
If I'm mad, I'll diss somebody that I don't like or plainly spit punchline for punchline on a song to show in my mind, anybody is not competition to me .

To sum this up, music lets me see myself for who I am. It gives me inspiration to improve myself as an individual and a person. Most of all, CONFIDENCE ! YOU DIG ?

I love my music. Mostly grunge, though it does extend to a lot of bands from Rock to Metal.
I use it a lot, acoustic versions of songs to relax, and other stuff to help me get in the right mood or just as I enjoy it. ><

Grunge to me is a part of my everyday life integrated many other things. Yeah...

I listen to so many different genres but I would have to say that Blues metal really speaks to me. Bands like Black Sabbath and Led Zep really got to me and influenced me, But one band that actually changed my life was Faith No More. Speaks so many truths about the world.
