m83 at the Bowery Ballroom in NYC.

Awesome little venue, pretty much anywhere you stand, you're going to get a really good view of the stage. It's small enough that it feels like an really personal show but not so small where you feel like everyone is on top of you. M83 was amazing of course, best show I've ever been to.

    Bright Eyes at the NorVa.

There were two opening bands (both good, but I forget the names. have them written down somewhere...), and both were just great! They even played along with Conor. I was standing for over 5-6 hours, and I literally couldn't bend my legs. It hurt so much to move them because it was so crowded, you literally couldn't move. Got out of the concert around 2am, and they started around 8-9pm. It was totally worth it. Best concert I ever went to.

    July 4th- Summerfest:

    The Invaders
    Suburban Legends
Big D and the Kids Table
    Goldfinger
    Less than Jake

The Invaders were awesome. Good two-tone ska band. They're from Milwaukee, and have been playing for 19 years. They sure had a lot of material. They played almost a solid two hours, so methinks something went wrong, and another band had to cancel or something. Let's just say I'll be looking them up in the near future.

Suburban Legends- I had heard about them before , and had liked what I'd heard, to an extent (a friend of mine that I had met at the show is a huge fan of them). It's like Disco Ska. Or DiSka as I like to call it. Synchronized dance moves and sweet outfits made the show the most high energy of the night.

Big D and the Kids Table- The main reason I went, other than LTJ. They were great. They even stuck Morphine's "Early to Bed" in there, which I pretty much orgasmed right there when that happened. Lead singer also gave a shout out to some guy wearing a Mr. Bungle t-shirt.

    Goldfinger- Meh. Let's move on.

Less than Jake- Despite starting later than they realistically should have (they were supposed to start at 10, which they did, but Goldfinger got done at about 9:05, which means LTJ could have gone on at 9:30), they put on a good show. They played all the fan favorites. "All my Best Friends are Metalheads", "Johnny Quest thinks we're Sellouts", amongst others, they were fun, playing the games "Who's the Rat?" and even having a dance off featuring the Trombonist from Suburban Legends.
Let's go into the "archives" in "Washington D.C." and find out how people "masturbated" in the "roaring 20's."

    Crao Porr Cock8. Bitch.
