Elvis Presley, I love his work...I'm surprised no-one has mentioned him yet. I like "Burning Love" and "Viva Las Vegas".
Jerry Goldsmith for his beautiful work in Star Trek. "Life Is A Dream", "End Credits", and "A New Ending".
At this point int time I'd probably say...

King Buzzo.
Of Melvins fame. He's a vocalist/guitarist/lyricist who was one of the pioneers of sludge metal and several grunge artists list him as an influence. And he seems to have quite a far range of sounds as well as the ability to do things many artists wouldn't dare.
Good listening.
At this moment in time
hmmmm
Taio Cruz
Ne yo
And Kate Nash

I would have to say Curt Cobain from Nirvana is my favoirt musician, his vocal work was pretty good and seemed to have its own style to it.
Plus I was raised on Nirvana so there.....RIP Curt Cobain......
My favorite musician is Nickelback
because I like his singing and his songs
and especially I like the song "How You Remind Me"
