I haven't played in months, ever since October I believe (a really short scenario that lasted two sessions and one battle, actually). That, and a Play-by-Post battle using special rules on another forum (a weird build using the Scout and Ranger classes, as well as a dip in Monk).
nice. i played 4th ed for a few months then got back in a 3.5 group. a lot of the people i played with really liked it but it wasn't really my thing. *sigh* i miss my d&d days
Race: I usually go for Human, though Warforged and Shifter (mostly Eberron races) are also good choices. For the funny choice...Gnome Class: Paladin, of course. I think that...should be evident. As for 4E, I believe it's a good system, a quicker and more streamlined way of playing a d20 system, but way too distant from the original D&D editions. In their search to reinvent themselves, they let go of a big part of the defining mythos, and specifically of rules that were considered intrinsic to D&D. I, for one, don't find the loss of the Vancian system of spellcasting a peeve, but "fluff" aspects do (mostly, the loss of the Oerthian deity Heironeous and its blending into Kord). Then again, I prefer the 3.x Edition myself.
hey...iv'e seen you mention something about D&D on a few post. so, out of pure curiosity, whats your favorite race and class to play? also...what do you think about 4.0?
