If you're going Old San Juan, there's an interesting exhibition near the piers. If you're interested on looking at it (though it's pretty easy to spot it), recall the name "Paséo de la Princesa" (the exhibition extends through all the strait) As for El Yunque, you can't get higher than a specific point (it's controlled by the US military); since it's nearing summer, try keeping through the established posts and bring water. LOTS of water. Though the springs there are pretty cool, temperature speaking. Hope you enjoy the trip!
Ah, interesting. I also have family in Juana Diaz. As for beaches, it depends on what kind of beaches you prefer. The good thing is that, being an island, Puerto Rico is full to the brim of beaches. The greatest part is that no beach is the same. If you're looking for peaceful beaches, the best bet is Escambrón at Old San Juan, or the beach at Isla Verde; if the beach you want is a bit more to the South (where Ponce lies), then it's El Tuque. If what you want is a bit more rough beaches, then the list is a bit wider; Rincón is a wonderful place, but it takes some time to travel there. If what I believe is true, then you'll probably be going from South to East (from Juana Diaz to San Juan through highway, then going east for Culebra. I haven't visited any of the extraterritorial municipalities, though; each of them is a nice place, though Culebra is a bit more quieter.
I'm going to be visiting some family in Juana Diaz, near Ponce. I'll hit some beaches, go to El Yunque, Old San Juan and El Morro, and maybe Isla de Cabra and Isle Culebra. It's going to be pretty cool.
Hunh? Really? You're coming to Puerto Rico? ...Where you'll be going, anyways? Maybe I can tell you of some locations depending on the general region you visit.
No problem about that (about the Dancing Mad/One-Winged Angel appreciation) I've listened to many game songs throughout the years, and I've grown to have some favorites. Dancing Mad isn't one of my great favorites (my actual favorite FF final theme song is The Extreme), but I respect the great work Mr. Uematsu did making that piece. It's complex, and truly stretches the potential of 16-bit music. One Winged Angel is fitting for the song, as it's mostly meant to exalt Sephiroth in his "moment of glory" (which to me is debatable, but then again there's the Final Boss theorem) Neo-Exdeath, Dark Messenger, Grand Cross and The Extreme are usually better. In order of liking: Extreme>Grand Cross>Dark Messenger>Dancing Mad>Neo-Exdeath>Zeromus
