I work a short shift on Sunday (12:00-18:30), aaaaaaand otherwise it's a double that Saturday (my only day in the store next week since I'm in Vegas the next five days) and I work until 21:30 on Monday and Tuesday both.
So it seems like I'll be in your area Labor Day weekend (Aug 31 - Sep 2) I found out yesterday that Wintersun is playing in Ft. Worth. So I am taking the opportunity of a 4 day weekend (for us military folk) to go over and see them. I have never been to a concert before but this is one of my favorite bands and I was unable to see them last year for their first NA tour. So if you are free any of those days let me know, so we can meet up.
It depends on which shift we get. Tele is going operational so he could get any sgift. I am going there for some more training. I think I will have day shift but I won't know till I get there. And Tele won't know what he has till he arrives.
I'd have no quarrel with driving there, but I don't think you guys will have any opportunity to have free time out there... will you?
We decided to cancel. Coincidently I got my orders meaning i'll be leaving for Little rock this coming tuesday. Tele leaves a day or two after me. I didn't think I would get them at this time. Usually they are slow getting orders out. Soooo we'll both be in little rock for that week you are off. Lol.
Alrighty. Worth noting that I have the entire week of the 17th-23rd off, and am not opposed to driving.
From Clovis to Little Rock is like 11 hrs so I don't know if Meier's would be that long, regardless it is some distance. Lolz, we would have to leave @ the latest around 7. Curfew, since we would both be on day shift, is at 10 pm Sun. Too bad Tele leaves so early after grading. The following weekend we have Monday off for President's day. I'll see what Tele thinks and go from there.
Oh man... Meier's place (assuming he doesn't move out of his area) is only a few hours north of me, a few hours west of Little Rock, and, well... Clovis is still like a 12 hour trip. But still! I will be home from work by 7pm at the latest on Sunday, so it's not like we won't have an opportunity to hang out.
Apparently misfortune may have struck both sides. Tele got in some silly trouble, nothing bad, (his squadron is real strict) anyways he is unsure if he may go but I will relay what you sent. Do you know what time you would be getting off? Pending on how things go even if Tele could.come we may not have time once you are off. Shame really. But let me tell ya the Good Word. Tele is gettin stationed at Little Rock. Myself at Clovis, NM - as if you or anyone would know where that is - anyhuma, we are relatively close by where in the future we could set something up with perhaps more tffers, like dodie amd meier if he still exists.
I apparently could not ensure that I would have that Sunday off, given that there are other managers out on vacation and I am working six days next week... nobody else could work Sunday. Go figure. BUT You guys are welcome to (a) harass me at work, (b) see the kajillion sightsee-ish things around here, (c) hang out Sunday evening. So there's still time! Just less.
