I work at GAME. I think everyone in retail has to be nice to ensure good customer service, even when faced with mean customers. Customer service = meeting and exceeding the needs of the customer. So if a customer shouts at me for no reason, I call the manager - if they want someone to shout at, they can be brave and shout at authority and not a lowly sales assistant who means no harm.
Yeah, sometimes in the kind of job I have ( not sure about you) you have to be really nice to a lot of people who you don't want to be nice to, its hard to smile all the time even when you are being insulted or yelled at..and, that's a good thing, I love the atmosphere here. Its Lovely to meet you as well, you seem pretty cool
