  1. *nods* Which is probably why I didn't really make a big deal out of it at the time. Doing anything other than gently escorting him off the site probably would have made things worse.
  2. Yeah I get the odd drunk like that myself.
The scary part is I think some are that far gone they don't realise they did it right afterwards.
  3. Ah. That's different. >.< I had a break in on my site once, and I think he was drunk. Said he didn't know how he got there. I'd found him coiling up one of the long, orange power cords. *rolls eyes* He left quietly enough.
  4. Wasn't a co-worker.
Some random druggie and whatever he'd been doing had him believing some seriously messed up stuff.
  5. I wish I had insane co-workers sometimes. For the past 11 months, I've been on this one construction site. I'm pretty much on my own the entire time. It's not too bad though. It's usually quiet, and the hourly patrols mean I have about 40 minutes to myself to do whatever.
  6. A little, but it's definitely true.
Actually recently I've seen more people I want to punch here than at work. Haha, bloody Internet having no peripherals to facilitate a good fist fight...

I had a smoke with one guy during this shift who was completely insane (literally) and some of the dialogue was great because of it. That's the kind of thing I like cutting the boredom.
  7. One of the pitfalls of the job, and oddly enough sometimes the most fun. That sounds sad.
  8. Tell me about it.
I find I see the best of some people and the worst of some people working security.
  9. 'but the portaloos are dirty!!!!'. Priceless. What do they expect with hundreds of other people using them? And not all of them are exactly immaculate with their hygiene.
