Oh the beauty of those games is they're quite open and you make the protagonist from scratch. Think exploring Baldur's Gate, Athkatla, several other forgotten realms cities and the Sword Coast in general. Drizzt's just one of a few cameos, Elminster pops up too.
I'll have to check in out then. I liked Drizzt's and the stories he was in, but I'm trying to branch out. Didn't want to get pigeon holed into just his tales. So I'm reading Shandril's Saga (which is a terrible read), The Moonshae Trilogy (which is great) and then the Cleric Quintet that I haven't gotten to yet. Thanks for the comment
