I've read the entire Wheel of Time series that is out.; there are only two books left which are being written by Brandon Sanderson because Robert Jordan died. Jordan did leave plenty of notes of how he wanted the series to end which is good for the fans. If you found the beginning of the series boring than you would have detested books 9 & 10 - the plot moves slower than continental shift.
Sorry I'm replying that late. ^^" I only read his "Wheel of Time" series... I think the first three books. Then it began to be boring, so I dropped the series. ^^ If you like Fantasy books, you should read it nevertheless. They ARE very good, but I grew to dislike such Fantasy books more and more over the last couple of years. .-.

It indeed is, at least if you're interested in fantasy books! =D I read a few pages again today and it still is interesting. It's just that most fantasy books are quite long. I've no problem with reading long stories, but mostly it seems as if the author had desperately tried to stretch the story (just that it has 500+ pages). There are so many scenes that aren't necessary. Neither for the story, nor for the character developement. :/
I have The Name of the Wind (the book); I haven't read it yet, I may read it next after I'm done with the book I'm reading now. It does seem to be a very interesting book.
