Conversation Between Xanatos and Hero without a Name

  1. Omega Weapon is in fact in Ultimecia castle, in other words you're ready to go. One of your teams has to wait in front of the fountain while the other pulls the rope near the gallery after which the bell rings and you have a minute or so to reach Omega Weapon who resides in chapel, your first team, the one near the fountain, should have more than enough time to reach it.

Be sure to tell me the outcome of the battle, if by any chance you end up having hard time defeating Omega Weapon feel free to ask for help, or just check my strategie in "hero or holy war thread" in Final Fantasy VIII section.
  2. Well here's the thing, when I got a game over, the end didn't go back to the start it just ended and considering my last save point is in Ultemcia's castle, is there a way I can get back?
  3. Depends how you look at it, battle wise, Ultimecia is one of the finest final bosses in Final Fantasy franchise, other than that I didn't found her to be anything special, I love her as a mastermind but there's barely any substance to her. And you're welcome, Final Fantasy VIII happens to be one of those games I know lot about.

Now that you've taken Ultimecia down you can move on Omega Weapon, bit more challenging than Ultimecia but I'm sure you're up to challenge.
  4. Thanks to your advice in the forums, I have officially defeated FF8, though tbh after going through Ultima Weapon, Ultemcia didn't seem that tough, I just took her down with haste, attacks and triple ultima, meteor, holy, tornado and flare. It took a while but I finally got it. She's really an underrated final villian imo
  5. Also when I first went to fight Bahamut, I also walked with the blue light was flashing, wondering why I was getting attacked so much. Had to go online to figure out what not to do. Good times
  6. Ah yes, FF III.....that is pretty bad. Ah well, I'll just try again. I wouldn't be a FF fan if I didn't like the dunegon style
  7. That's unfortunate to hear/read, it's still not as bad as going through World of Darkness in Final Fantasy III DS. There's no save point and you're basically forced to take down four fiends unless you want Cloud of Darkness to be almost invincible, even with four fiends out of the way Cloud of Darkness can pawn you fairly easy after which you lose 2-3 hours of playthrough.
  8. Almost did it....going to kill Ultima Weapon then a stupid Ruby Dragon came out and before I even had time to do a single move...my party is dead and I lost about an hour of playing time. Gotta love dunegon style ff eh? lol
  9. sounds good boss and tell your friends, they might make it interesting too
  10. I've noticed, killed by his brother, better him I guess than some unworthy weakling. It's really shame only few of us participate, it's an interesting game where you use your imagination to the fullest. I'll make another post soon, I think I have two perfect candidates, this time though I'll make it bit unusual.
  11. I killed your fav character, now will what you do? mwhahahah
  12. yeah I saw what you did and I was about to be like....ah, but then you fixed it so good eye and I like your battle idea, well done. Make sure to tell all of your friends, I'm curious to see the interesting battles that await.
  13. I barely glanced the opening post, I fixed my response though, wont happen again. Fun game, it's like one of those elimination games you see in humor games thread just more creative.
