  1. Yes! One year closer to my ascension.
  2. OMG happy birthday friend.
  3. The childhood chapter was not that pleasant. It only reinforced why I don't want kids - because they could turn out like Asbel. Not f**king listen to anything I say.

So far with the cast they've done a decent job keeping things not too cheery and predictable. I will say it hasn't been that funny at all. Legendia was hilarious and Abyss had its moments. Vesperia, from what I've planned, had some moments as well. But this game's humor hasn't clicked with me.

How are you liking the battle system? Since you just got done with the childhood chapter a lot hasn't been unlocked/available. It gets pretty deep. Plus with all the dualizing you can do there is a lot of customization.
  4. I haven't gotten TOO far. I've finished the childhood chapter or whatever the heck it was called lol, and I've been playing bits and pieces here and there since we borrowed it from a friend. It's not as interesting to me than the previous ones. It's hard to say why. It might be the character cast, since they're just not as appealing to me :/
  5. How far are you into Tales of Graces f? I have the game myself. I heard that it is pretty short which doesn't bode well for me. Perhaps it will feel longer than what it truly is.
  6. As I'm leaving, even though I'll still be "on-call" though doubtful I'll take any hours with how my schedule will end up, my boss & co-workers threw me a going away party. My boss got my some sushi, a whole meal plus some pieces, which I was very thankful for her gift. They also brought some cookies and stuff. I'm don't divulge into sweets too much.

Tomorrow I'll also find out if I got the job at Bed, Bath, & Beyond as they are to call if I got the job. If not, then they passed me over. I still have the Wal-Mart gig, but ever searching am I.

What's the good word with you?
  7. That's pretty funny. The Wal-Mart job is kind of like my old job at Macy's. Misfits of the store, extreme climate. The area I'm going into is Lawn & Garden. And no, I am not a man of the Earth, but I'll learn. Or not if I my stay is short.

Same here about not being a fan of the radio. They play the same stuff too much. Hear a certain song then a hour later that song plays again. Radio needs to play other songs from artists or feature new/up & coming artists to give their station variety.

Working at Macy's does not bring in the dough. Nor will Wal-Mart. I was thinking of getting two jobs and going to school; the two jobs allowing me to move out, but my dad said that life isn't good. Besides it is damn expensive to move out. So I'm trying to work something up that will help me out. As for my girlfriend: her father called her today and said he had her back. She'll be going to NY and if his wife and him still argue, they (my gf and her father) will go to Florida or Puerto Rico. He did say he wanted to make up for lost time and does care for her well-being. Finally some good news for her and she gets to be apart of a family she did not have for most of her life.
  8. Haha I don't think I would want to stay there either. Our Walmarts are such Zoos -_-; in fact, there was a bomb threat at the once closest to me yesterday night haha. My brother went to buy boxers apparently, and he saw a ton of people outside. I found out from his fb status, and when he got home I was rofling.

I can actually, I dont use my ipod, but I'm allowed to use the radio. I would rather file in quiet instead since I'm not a fan of the radio anyway.

Hm. She wouldn't be able to crash with you?

Annnnnd It's fine haha nothing I can't handle yet
  9. I got a new job at Wal-Mart though I want to make it temporary. Don't want to stay there long. Still looking for something(s) else.

Do you get to listen to music whilst you file?

She'll be calling her father today to see what is up. I've been thinking of what I could do, if anything, if things stay sour.

How do you like being a Moderator?
  10. lol it's my favorite pattern! hah, I decided to change it up. I got bored. There's absolutely nothing new in my life like always, except I have a temporary job. I only work Fridays at an office for a construction company up until they dont need me anymore. (all I do is file)

And wow, D; I hope everything goes well for her. that really sucks.

Well, at least her life is far more interesting than mine ^^;;;? baha.
That's pretty exciting though, that she was able to contact her father. That's a plus!
  11. Hey girl. Like this background I'm typing over. Very nice. Anyhuma, what's been cooking with you? I haven't done much cooking (literally) lately. I've got some recipes I want to try including my grandfather's Chicken-n-Dumplings recipe just don't have the money for them because they can be expensive to make.

My girlfriend is back from being honorably discharged from the Army. They made an error in accepting her in the first place; she has PTSD (childhood). They don't accept people with PTSD. Furthermore she has suffered stress fractures in her hips which she'll most likely need surgery to correct. And she doesn't have a solid place to stay. Her family history is long but summarizing it - she doesn't have a home to go home to. She recently contacted her father for the first time in her lifetime - part of the long family history - and while he would like for her to come up, his wife has not been receptive at all. My gf is staying at a hotel for the moment, till Friday. Hopefully by then her father could work something out either with his wife or his mother.
  12. Ohai. I just realized, I haven't talked to you in days.

    SOOOooooo HI !!!!!!!!!!!
  13. hahaah I'm going to beat FF IV DS by only using the X button. THE WHOLE GAME no menu no nothing.

    I SO GOT THIS!
  14. Awwww lol sounds like my friend. He went actually and just came back or some shite and I was like "wtf you didn't even tell me !?"Because I told a few of my friends if they ever went I would kill them lol. Buut I guess it's a smart choice. He went mainly for the free education part
  15. Well she did not have much of a choice if she wanted to obtain some future. At the age of 17 she became a ward of the state due to circumstances. At 21 she was no longer a ward - that's the cut-off age - so she had nothing really to fall on. With the army, she can get an education & if she chooses take her field job (CBRN[Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear] Technician/Engineer something like that) to the private sector plus she may see some of the world. If I had a house full of money, not consisting of $1s, then she would not have to do this, but her options are very limited.
