As in like the Bishops of the Catholic Church? While technically we have to take doctrinal decisions made by the Pope without question, in practice, this doesn't happen. I would like to see female priests, and homosexual priests. I don't have a problem with it. It's one thing to repeat what authority says, and another to report what people actually do. I'd easily say that the majority of Catholics (at least where I'm from) are perfectly comfortable using contraception, despite it's official denouncement.
I'm not saying that everyone should do what their religion says. I am mainly referring to Christianity more towards the people who run and control it.
Yes, I suppose you're right (referring to your rep). But "Christians" are found everywhere; Left, Right, Centre, extremists, peaceniks, you name it. I just don't like it when I'm told, "Christians support this." The first thing to ask is "what percentage?" Take abortion. I don't support it, but I hope everyone has access to it, because I understand that others do support it.
