I'm a big fan of IV, VI, VII, VIII, and X. Having beaten all of the numerical FF games except for the recently released DS version of IIIj, I have a hard time choosing a single, let alone two or three favs.... And as for the comment in the useless weapons thread, I honostly agree, which is why I tryed to post that last message.... nothing is truly useless if looked at in the aspect of being able to sell it.
By the way the chastizing comment in "most useless weapon" was not directed at you.
Actually the one he is biggest into is XI. Me it was VI the IV then a tie between VII and IX. How about yourself?
Really? Wow... bet he prefers the classics... I'm kinda that way myself... I think that IV and VI were pretty much the best... great story, memorable characters, great music... What about you? Which FF caught your eye the most?
to true you make a very valid point. I still have alot of friends my age and older that still play this series. We actualy have a guy that is over 40 that is a member here, Tebian is his user name.
All things considered though... we probably shouldn't be... after all, the Final Fantasy games are one of the few games that truly spans the generations.... From the Nintendo Generation all the way to the up and coming Next Gen systems, the series has grown and changed just as much as the times... and that's why this site has a good chance at staying strong... cause people older than us down to 7 and 8 year olds can all get into this game for different reasons.

Well... a pleasent surprise... I've seen a few here or there... been talking to one that popped in on my profile... it's kinda comforting knowing that you aren't only surrounded by the younger generation... ya know what I mean?
Haha. There's actually quite a few of us here that are that way. Most of the active users like Demon Hunter, Faith, Loco, and fishie. Heck the list is actually pretty big.
