What did you bring with you to work?
Music (and other sounds) is the one thing we're banned from using as it distracts us from listening out for vandals or break-ins. They actually recommend we bring a book or portable videogames (with the sound off) to stave off boredom.

Currently working, it's been an interesting shift to put it mildly. In general though it's been good. That good I wouldn't be surprised if something terrible randomly pops up to spoil part of it because it's too good. Though I do get fairly bored on quieter shifts. Got this phone with the Internet, but even forums and the like get boring after several hours straight.
