  1. "Day of the Dragon" is from Warcraft.

And the book from the Lost Histories is "Land of the Minotaur".
  2. I know, which is total bull. Customers are rarely right, we just pretend they are and let them get away with anything. The problem with that policy is you give people an inch and they take five miles. So what started out reasonable has now gone deep into the territory of the ridiculous. The sense of entitlement pervading society right now certainly isn't helping either. Makes me want to punch some of these idiots in the face. Repeatedly.
  3. I feel your pain. I didn't get my first real raise at my current job till pretty recently. My first "raise" was mandatory because min. wage went up therefore they had to give me a raise.

One thing I forgot to mention is a common mantra of companies: customers come first and are "always right". Through CSR they are trying to build a good connection to possible customers.
  4. That's on my to-read list as well. I'm catching up on at least some of the more classical fantasy of late. It helps that a lot of them are being reissued in ebook form. Sadly, a lot of what people generally consider to be classics of the genre are out of print and thus very difficult to find.
  5. I may take a look at the Mistborn Trilogy, but I do have Warbreaker, by Sanderson, which is a Sci-Fi essential. I'm really looking forward to reading that book.

Have you read any of Robert E. Howard's work or no? Since it seems you take an interest in Sword and Sorcery, he was one of the authors whom defined the sub-genre. I've been meaning to get the Conan [the barbarian] compendium that has most if not all the stories Conan's adventures.
