I don't even know if we have a restriction on the number of hours that can be worked in a day. I know some do 14 hours though. But don't have anything special to allow overtime, they just tell us it happens and we do it. Yeah, once things have definitely calmed down at work, I'll start probing for this again. But I don't want to be juggling this and returning to heavy hours suddenly. I'll be thinking of what we can do.
I made a mistake there, I meant that the max. allowed in the EU is 48 hours, with an opt-out in the UK allowing up to about 60 (I think). The maximum allowed in France and a few other EU countries is 35 hours, with overtime allowing up to 48. It's also illegal for anyone to work more than 13 hours in a 24 hour period. Human rights and morale and all that jazz. Also congrats for being able to test for such long periods of time, I can't even test my own games for more than an hour before wanting to hang myself. Getting a replacement might be difficult for obvious reasons. I guess ***** may have some sort of interest (I think he was attempting his own RP related project), but he sometimes goes away for long periods too. **** and **** could also be candidates? The latter tends to have short posts on most of the forum but I was surprised at the length of his posts found within the RP forum. I guess it sort of depends on a number of factors. Maybe some sort of casting call for a replacement? I know the original thread still exists but it's over a year old. I'd happily take care of it if you're too busy, whilst maintaining the level of discretion you had in the original thread, or y'know you could just necropost the in the old thread as an appeal for another leader. It may be against European law to work 40 hours? What length of hours is supposed to legal? I test games that our company makes. Yeah, I've been concerned about Magi, which is strange since he was the first to jump on this. I've been considering finding someone else, but I'm not sure who to replace him.
The typical working week is about 40 hours here, and even that is about to change since it may be against European law. The 48 hours allows the overtime. But like I said, if you sign a form you can work more than 48. Minimum wage is also higher here, and tax credits top up your income if it's below a certain amount. I never knew you worked for a video game company, what is it that you do there, if you don't mind me asking? You'll already know this probably, but Magi hasn't been on in seven months. Maybe someone more reliable needs to be brought in? He's dissappeared for months before, and who knows whether he'll come back this time?
Wow, who knew overtime was illegal. How do you earn extra money? I work for a video game company. It is actually more like 11 hours a day, since we only work 6 days a week. Though it is pretty flexible. And I remember the stuff you sent me. When I say that I'm still waiting on stuff, it doesn't imply you. There are others besides you. While I have been terribly tardy on actually putting it up that isn't staling us. It is finishing the details on the clans. There might be an odd piece or two around. When I get a spare moment I'll look at the forum again to see what it is that I still need.
I hate to say this, but I sent you some stuff months ago and promised to send the rest along when you put it up. I guess I waited too long to remind you ;_; If you don't mind me asking, what is it that you do? I've felt like grabbing a noose after five days of nine hours each, but seventy is ten hours every day of the week, is that even legal? It's illegal to work more than 48 hours a week (on average) without signing a special consent form here.
Indeed, I feel bad for not being available. It's even worse for me right now doing 70 hours a week. I do hate to push work off on others, but it is true that one of the reasons things are staled right now is because I haven't received all of the information from everyone yet. I can do it myself, but I'm not going to do so without being asked. It is supposed to be your groups.

It's no worries, I got hit with crunch time. So I was unavailable for about two months. I haven't forgotten about the PM you gave me for the information. I'll make sure to post it soon. I'm still playing catch up on things.
I want to apologse for not spending more time on Project Andro. The reason I went from full swing to zero activity on the project was because my grandda died, and my coursework has been pretty intense since that point because of the reprecussions of all the actions that need to be taken when a relative dies. Luckily today was my last day of Uni until September, barring exams and a Game Pitch on Monday, so I hope to be able to get right back on track, so long as you'll look at things I send you
