  1. Hey there. Very glad you're interested in my projects. What we've done is compile images taken both from the Hubble Space Telescope and the Swift Satellite. We 'coadd' these images (basically just pile them on top of each other) and then 'reduce' them (basically just eliminate all data we don't want).

    My data collection portion of the project has finished, and we've compiled a table of our findings. What we're interested in are the galaxies in these images that are host to gamma ray bursts (GRBs). Once we detect them, we can figure out different aspects of them, such as their flux or their distance or their duration.

    By compiling this table, we provide other researchers with opportunities to use our findings to begin new projects or make comparisons. With any luck, the table will be compiled into a paper that will be published by the end of the year!
