  1. It may be NDIS, but I'm not really sure since I've actually never messed with it... all my wireless cards are Intel PRO Wireless, which Ubuntu supports out of the box.
  2. I had the best Luck with Kubuntu, where it would detect my card, and tell me I was connected to the net, but....I wasn't haha. I could pull any data. That Could be incompatibility with my router, but not likely. Otherwise, it usually doesn't detect my wireless card, but netgear drivers are a bitch to finagle to begin with xD

    I've checked out: Zenwalk, Ubuntu (with GNOME, KDE, and XFCE), Fluxbuntu, Freespire, Elive, Puppy, and GoblinX. I did not have any connectivity problems using an ethernet connection. but the router, for the sake of my sister, is in a location that I can thread cable to xD.

    Think it could be that I'm not configuring Ndiswrapper properly?
  3. What are you having problems with in Linux with wireless... the hardware on the computer or connecting to the router? What distros have you tried?
