One reason why I think Twilight Princess is Adult Link/Hero of Time is because the games in the unofficial timeline for Kid Link you either fight Ganon or some other evil character, none which have Ganondorf. All the titles where you are referred as Hero of Time and you face Ganondorf at the end.
I never played Guilty Gear so I honestly wouldn't know. I know the game is an anime I think, my friend got a DVD with the game when it came out. I think you'll like it, should give it a try.
