Well, that was nice of you. Hmm... Never thought about making stamps. And I'm not so good about working with small spaces, so I don't think that's up my alley at all. Thanks for the offer though.
Yep, I gave it to him because I remember him once commenting on how My Immortal is his favorite song! ^_^ Haha, thankies~! =D Oh, I had no clue how to make it in the first place, so I looked around DeviantArt, of course. xD I found one for GIMP, too, if you're interested. ^_~
No prob! I saw that Xanatos is sporting it around as his avvy. :3 Nice! And it's...ORANGE!!! Did you check out deviant art to learn how, or did you do it on your own? I think it's cool how you manage to put so much detail in such tiny spaces, and yet it doesn't look to busy and you can still make out what's in them.
I liked the eyes, too. ^_^ Thankies, Dodie~! =D And I learned to make stamps! XD
Yeah, and when you do that pop of color like what you did with her eyes and the font, it really adds to the dynamic quality. Sometimes, the simplest things are the ones that can have the biggest impact with people.
=D I think I'm starting to like black and white a little; it's easy and good. xD
It was that Square forum, actually. ^_^ I found out that the webmistress at Divine Designs was a member there but got banned. XD I lvoe the style there, though, because they have more of a freestyle (outside a rectangle). Yeah, I suppose it was. =) The caramel was good, though. Oh, I need one of those giant chocolate things! 8D Oh, it was him? I think they did a song together called Broken or something. You know that song Fireflies by Owl City? Yeah...the lyrics are stupid. ^_^' Aww, that's terrible. D=
Well, when you're finished, I would like to see what sort of changes you made to it. I still need to lurk in that art forum for some inspiration myself. Oh, fundraiser candy bars... Well, at least it was for a good cause. I think the easter candy should be going on sale tomorrow, so we can stock up on all the goodies that we didn't get today. Oh, I remember when that first hit the airwaves on my radio station. I liked it. I think I remember hearing that she wrote it when she and her boyfriend (the guy who sings in Seether) broke up. Stuff like that happens, but at least she was able to write a pretty hit song about it, which is more than I can say for any of my breakups that I've gone through.
Thankies~! 8D I picked up the color bit on that other forum, too! ^_~ But...there weren't many kinds. >.< It was just some people selling candy bars at my church this morning. =3 I bought a caramel and a rice crisps one, for a dollar each, but I wanted a white chocolate bunny. x3 OH, MY GOD, I WANT ONE, TOO! D= Also, i have another Evanescence song for you. =D YouTube - Evanescence - Call Me When You're Sober The thing I like most about this song is the fact that Amy Lee wrote the lyrics EXACTLY like what she's feeling, without hiding it in metaphor. It's a change from her style, which is very unique. <3
Ah. I see. Good luck in your color venture, young banner artist. Well, look on the bright side: Since you bought it yourself, you got to pick which kind of delicious chocolate you wanted! I would do just about anything for a Cadbury creme egg about now (except apparently walking my butt to the store and buying one... ).
Naw, just coloring like I did in my avy, to bring out the sharpness and intensity of the other minor colors in the piece. ^_^ Thank youuu! =D And you're so lucky. D= NO ONE GAVE ME ANYTHING. The only chocolate I had, I bought myself. ='
No problem! Though I honestly don't see where you need to fix the color though, but do as you think needs to be done. Happy Easter to you too! Hope you got your chocolate fix today. I know I did.
Ah, I get it. =D I think I may need to fix some coloring, though. =) But thankies! And HAPPY EASTER!! <3<3
Sometimes, less IS more. I think it looks fine the way it is. Great cutout and interesting design of the overall banner. Great use of a monochromatic color scheme. LOVE the reflective effect at the bottom, and nice captures of the many faces of Hope. I wouldn't add anything else, for you would run the risk of it being too busy. The way I look at it, if you can't think of anything else to add to a work, then you're done. Don't try to force it.
Dooodieeeee, sorry for the sudden VMing, but I need your advicy again. xD This time I really like what I have going on, but it seem so...incomplete. D= I wanna add more, but I don't know what to add. ._.
